Hi Bro,

Your model is OBD 2 which is not remappable without the factory unlocking codes. Most people replace the original ecu with an older eprom model and fit a standard cable throttle or fit a full standalone with a cable throttle. Although it is possible to fit a piggyback I wont recommend it.

Can you share with me why piggyback is not recommend for my model? worry the factory ECU reset the setting or ?

If you replace the ecu with an older version, yes you will loose the traction control. If you fit a standalone you can wire it up with traction control as well.

I dont recommend piggybacks because tuning fuel will cause your ignition to run by an unknown amount especially if you use it to cut fuel. You can readvance/retard the ignition on the piggyback but that will reduce the safety margin if you encounter a bad batch of fuel. Unless there is someway to monitor the changes from the oem ignition map with the new map, its virtually impossible to get the factory safety margin in place unless you use a very conservative tune, then you will not get the max from your engine. Of course there is also the possibility the oem ecu will make changes while driving and you will loose the tune. Overall not a very permanent fix on modern engine control systems.
