How to save fuel and increase engine power?

honestly if for any power increase i won't trust these "toys" lar.. IMHO best way to get power and reduce fuel consumption is to increase engine effeciency, which the easiest way is to use good lubricant so your engine will have less friction thus more power and better FC.

another way is to lighten your car. I always tell everyone, especially those new into car mod world, to throw away any junk they don't need in their car.. hahahaha.. no not the rear seat and tire.. i mean those things that you don't need, like my mom carry food and drink inside car all the time..

rollakid: yeah good lubricant, i agree.Bout the Stromberg boosters, last few days, i went Carrefour setapak to ask bout it. The boss seems to be very kind. He asked me to bring it from ipoh and he will change it a new one if the washer in the booster really rosak. So, i will give a try and if succeeded to get a claim for warranty, i will install it in my iswara.( my dad dont want it already). dont worry, i will give some feedback here after using it..by the way, the stromberg booster is to perform more sparks in the least time to burn almost all fuel (more than 90% efficiency) standard old car is bout 70%..let c whether it is true...selling at rm179...

I have got the item more than 1 week ago...but I haven't installed it yet..because I am currently testing a kind of lubricant, whether the lubricant can reduce the fuel consumption. I don't want to get them mixed up.

Previously I tested my car, on average, every RM80, it could go for about 305miles. After using the lubricant, for the same RM80, it can go for about 322miles.

I am going to install the item from Italy this Saturday if I have time. I will see whether for the same RM80, it can go for more than 350miles after get it installed.

hey guys, im back. gUESS what ?? i have claimed my dad's stromberg boosters in wangsa maju carrefour yesterday. Well, actually 2 boosters are spoilt but i asked one of the worker there to change the another two since it is 'old' .Then, he installed them into my iswara a/b 1.3.

My first pedalling gives me some excitement coz' the rpm pushes up so fast even i just touch it softly. i think this means the efficiency of fuel combustion really getting high. i probably with give a try now since it is totally all free for me..haha :rolleyes: ..i will give some feedback here...

so stromberg sounds good? Does it require you to cut the tube between fuel tank and fuel filter?

Have you tested, how many percent fuel consumption has been reduced?

No. They just cut in the middle of ur cables,so then the booster is put in the middle of every cable. It is indeed a very easy job to do ,but, i also dont dare to cut it by my own. Since the expert is there, better get him to do nicely for me. Well, i felt less jerkings(the jerk im telling is affected by the least of ur pedalling when you accelerate your car).

It means better pick up here..regarding the FC, i still checking on it. The previous i has was rm48 for 270km then rm48 for 226km(new year i went klcc,traffic jam..expected :hmpf: ) so, i will try to get to the same level of my fuel and see what mileage i get...i will surely post here again..One more thing that you should know is according to the worker(who has been working for 2 years there) , even the booster isnt working, the sparks will be only back to the normal sparks. So, this means your car wont break down in the middle of the road. ...thats what i can share for now
