CONFIDENCE

Once all village people decided to pray for rain .On the day of prayer all
people gathered and only one boy came with an umbrella, that's confidence...........

TRUST

Trust should be like the feeling of a one year old baby
When you throw him in the air, he laughs......
Because he knows you will catch him......

HOPE

A human being can live for
40 days without water
8 minutes without air
But not even 1 second without hope....

SO ALWAYS HAVE CONFIDENCE, TRUST OTHERS AND NEVER LOSE HOPE!!

The Secret to a Lasting Marriage: Embrace Imperfection

"When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make breakfast
food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in
particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work.

On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs,
sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I remember
waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for
his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me how my day was at school.

I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember
watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite!
When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom
apologize to my dad for burning the toast. And I'll never forget what
he said: "Baby, I love burned toast."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if
he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said,
"Debbie, your momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real
tired. And besides a little burnt toast never hurt anyone!"

In bed that night, I thought about that scene at dinner...and the
kindness my daddy showed my mom. To this day, it's a cherished memory
from my childhood that I'll never forget. And it's one that came to
mind just recently when Jack and I sat down to eat dinner.

I had arrived home late...as usual...and decided we would have
breakfast food for dinner. Some things never change, I suppose!

To my amazement, I found the ingredients I needed, and quickly began
to cook eggs, turkey sausage, and buttered toast. Thinking I had
things under control, I glanced through the mail for the day. It was
only a few minutes later that I remembered that I had forgotten to
take the toast out of the oven!

Now, had it been any other day -- and had we had more than two pieces
of bread in the entire house -- I would have started all over. But it
had been one of those days and I had just used up the last two pieces
of bread. So burnt toast it was!

As I set the plate down in front of Jack, I waited for a comment
about the toast. But all I got was a "Thank you!" I watched as he ate
bite by bite, all the time waiting for some comment about the toast.
But instead, all Jack said was, "Babe, this is great. Thanks for
cooking tonight. I know you had a hard day."

As I took a bite of my charred toast that night, I thought about my
mom and dad...how burnt toast hadn't been a deal-breaker for them. And
I quietly thanked God for giving me a marriage where burnt toast
wasn't a deal-breaker either!

You know, life is full of imperfect things...and imperfect people. I'm
not the best housekeeper or cook. And you might be surprised to find
out that Jack isn't the perfect husband! He likes to play his music
too loud, he will always find a way to avoid yard work, and he watches
far too many sports.
Believe it or not, watching "Golf Academy" is not my idea of a great
night at home!

But somehow in the past 37 years Jack and I have learned to accept the
imperfections in each other. Over time, we have stopped trying to make
each other in our own mold and have learned to celebrate our
differences.

You might say that we've learned to love each other for who we really
are!

For example, I like to take my time, I'm a perfectionist, and I'm
even-tempered. I tend to work too much and sleep too little. Jack, on
the other hand, is disciplined, studious, an early riser, and is a
marketer's dream consumer. I count pennies and Jack could care less!
Where he is strong, I am weak, and vice versa.

And while you might say that Jack and I are opposites, we're also very
much alike. I can look at him and tell you what he's thinking. I can
predict his actions before he finalizes his plans. On the other hand,
he knows whether I'm troubled or not the moment I enter a room.

We share the same goals. We love the same things. And we are still
best friends. We've traveled through many valleys and enjoyed many
mountaintops. And yet, at the same time, Jack and I must work every
minute of every day to make this thing called "marriage" work!

What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each
other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences -
is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing,
and lasting marriage relationship. "

LOve ~ is patience, understanding each another & compromise.

THE UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE

Two sailors ran into each other in a pub. Over a few beers, one of the men told the other about his last voyage: "After a month at sea," he said, "we discovered our masts had been eaten through by termites! Almost nothing left of them."

"That's terrible," said the second sailor.

"That's what I thought at first too," the first sailor said, "but it turned out to be good luck. As soon as we took the sails down to fix the masts, we were hit by a squall so suddenly and so hard, it would surely have blown us over if our sails were up at the time."

"How lucky!"

"That's exactly what I thought at the time, too. But because our sails were down, we couldn't steer ourselves, and because of the wind, we were blown onto a reef. The hole in the hull was too big to fix. We were stranded."

"That is bad luck indeed."

"That's what I thought, too, when it first happened. But we all made it to the beach alive and had plenty to eat. But now here's the real kicker: While we were on the island whining about our terrible fate, we discovered a buried treasure!"

As this story illustrates, you don't know if an event is "good" or "bad" except maybe in retrospect, and even then you don't really know because life keeps going. The story's not over yet. Just because something hasn't turned out to be an advantage yet doesn't mean it is not ever going to.

Therefore, you can simply assume whatever happens is "good." I know that sounds awfully airy-fairy, but it's very practical. If you think an event is good, it's easy to maintain a positive attitude. And your attitude affects your health, it affects the way people treat you and how you treat others, and it affects your energy level. And those can help pave the way for things to turn out well. A good attitude is a good thing. And a bad attitude does you no good at all.

So get in the habit of saying "That's good!" Since you don't know for sure whether something will eventually work to your advantage or not, you might as well assume it will. It is counterproductive to assume otherwise. Think about it. If someone ahead of you in line at a store is slowing everything down, say to yourself, "That's good!" They may have saved you from getting into an accident when you get back in your car. Or maybe, because you slowed down, you might meet a friend you would have missed. You never know.

The truth is, life is uncertain.
And even that can work to your advantage.

A Beautiful Love Story

http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/4211/bshz8.gif

One of the most touching and purest love story I've
read in a while..

From the very beginning, girl's family objected
strongly on her ****** this guy, saying that it has
got to do with family background, & that the girl will
have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to
be with him.

Due to family's pressure, the couple quarreled very
often. Though the girl loved the guy deeply, she
always asked him: "How deep is your love for me?"

As the guy is not good with his words, this often
caused the girl to be very upset. With that & the
family's pressure, the gal often vents her anger on
him. As for him.. he only endured it in silence.

After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated &
decided to further his studies overseas. Before
leaving, he proposed to the gal: "I'm not very good
with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you
allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my
life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk
them round. Will you marry me?"

The girl agreed, & with the guy's determination, the
family finally gave in & agreed to let them get
married. So before he left, they got engaged.

The gal went out to the working society, whereas the
guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent
their love through emails & phone calls. Though it was
hard, but both never thought of giving up.

One day, while the gal was on her way to work, she
was knocked down by a car that lost control. When she
woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She
realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum
cry, she wanted to comfort her. But she realized that
all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh.
She had lost her voice....

The doctor says that the impact on her brain has
caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her
parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out from
her, she broke down. During the stay in hospital,
besides silent cry. it's still just silent cry that
accompanied her. Upon reaching home, everything seems
to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the
phone which pierced into her heart every time it rang.
She does not wish to let the guy know & not wanting to
be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying
that she does not wish to wait any longer.

With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return,
the guy sent millions & millions of reply and
countless phone calls. all the gal could do besides
crying is still crying.... The parents decided to move
away, hoping that she could eventually forget
everything & be happy.

With a new environment, the gal learnt sign language
& started a new life.

Telling herself everyday that she must forget the
guy. One day, her friend came & told her that he's
back. She asked her friend not to let him know what
happened to her. Since then, there wasn't anymore news
of him.

A year has passed & her friend came with an envelope,
containing an invitation card for the guy's wedding.
The gal was shattered. When she opened the letter, she
saw her name on it instead. When she was about to ask
her friend what was going on, she saw the guy standing
in front of her....

He used sign language to tell her, "I've spent a year
to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I've
not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to
be your voice. I Love You." With that, he slipped the
ring back into her finger. The gal finally
smiled......

Treat every relationship as if it's the last one,
then you'll know how to Give.

Treat every moment as if it's the last day, then
you'll know how to Treasure.

Treasure what you have right now, or else you may
regret one day...

http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/4363/roseus5.gif

You have to read this it is absolutely beautiful......

Each year he sent her roses,
and the note would always say,
I love you even more this year,
than last year on this day.
My love for you will always grow,
with every passing year."

She knew this was the last time
that the roses would appear.
She thought, he ordered roses
in advance before this day.
Her loving husband did not know,
that he would pass away.

He always liked to do things early,
way before the time.
Then, if he got too busy,
everything would work out fine.

She trimmed the stems and
placed them in a very special vase.
Then, sat the vase beside
the portrait of his smiling face.

She would sit for hours,
In her husband's favorite chair.
While staring at his picture,
and the roses sitting there.

A year went by, and it was
to live without her mate.
With loneliness and solitude,
that had become her fate.

Then, the very hour,
The doorbell rang, and there
were roses sitting by her door.

She brought the roses in,
and then just looked at them in shock.
Then, went to get the telephone,
to call the florist shop.

The owner answered, and she asked him,
if he would explain, Why would someone would
do this to her, causing her such pain?

"I know your husband passed away,
more than a year ago,"
The owner said,
"I knew you'd call, and you would want to know.
The flowers you received today,
were paid for in advance.
Your husband always planned ahead,
he left nothing to chance.
There is a standing order,
that I have on file down here,
And he has paid, well in advance,
you'll get them every year.

There also is another thing,
that I think you should know,
He wrote a special little card...he did this years ago.
Then, should ever I find out that he's no longer here,
that's the card that should be sent to you
the following year."

She thanked him and hung up the phone, her tears now
flowing hard.
Her fingers shaking,
as she slowly reached to get the card.

Inside the card, she saw that he had written her a note.
Then, as she stared in total silence,
this is what he wrote...

"Hello my love, I know it's been a year
since I've been gone.
I hope it hasn't been too hard for you to overcome.
I know it must be lonely,
and the pain is very real.

Or if it was the other way,
I know how I would feel.
The love we shared made everything
so beautiful in life.
I loved you more than words can say,
you were the perfect wife.
You were my friend and lover,
you fulfilled my every need.
I know it's only been a year,
but please try not to grieve.

I want you to be happy,
even when you shed your tears.
That is why the roses will be sent to you for years.
When you get these roses,
think of all the happiness that we had together,
and how both of us were blessed.
I have always loved you and
I know I always will.
But, my love, you must go on,
you have some living still.

Please...try to find happiness,
while living out your days.
I know it is not easy,
but I hope you find some ways.

The roses will come every year,
and they will only stop,
When your door's not answered,
when the florist stops to knock.
He will come five times that day,
in case you have gone out.
But after his last visit,
he will know without a doubt!
To take the roses to the place,
where I've instructed him
and place the roses where we are,
together once again.

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend;
Someone who changes your life
just by being part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh
until you can't stop;
Someone who makes you believe
that there really is good in the world.
Someone who convinces you
that there really is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it.

This is Forever Friendship.
This is the sacred RED ROSE.

Rose's story

The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged
us to get to know someone we didn't already know. I stood up to look
around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.

I turned around to find a wrinkled, little old lady beaming up at me
with a smile that lit up her entire being. She said, 'Hi handsome. My
name is Rose.

I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?'

I laughed and enthusiastically responded, 'Of course you may!' and
she gave me a giant squeeze.

'Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?' I asked.

She jokingly replied, 'I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married,
and have a couple of kids...'

'No seriously,' I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to
be taking on this challenge at her age.

'I always dreamed of having ! a college education and now I'm getting
one!' she told me.

After class we walked to the student union building and shared a
chocolate milkshake.

We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months we
would leave class together and talk nonstop. I was always mesmerized
listening to this 'time machine' as she shared her wisdom and experience
with me.

Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily
made friends wherever she went.

She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention bestowed upon
her from the other students. She was living it up.

At the end of the semester we invited Rose to speak at our football
banquet. I'll never forget what she taught us. She was introduced
and stepped up to the podium. As she began to deliver her prepared
speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor.

Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone
and simply said, 'I'm sorry I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and
this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech back in order so let
me just tell you what I know.'

As we laughed she cleared her throat and began, 'We do not stop
playing because we are old; we grow old because we stop playing.

There are only four secrets to staying young, being happy, and
achieving success. You have to laugh and find humor every day. You've
got to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die.

We have so many people walking around who are dead and don't even
know it!

There is a huge difference between growing older and growing up.

If you are nineteen years old and lie in bed for one full year and
don't do one productive thing, you will turn twenty years old. If I am
> eighty-seven years old and stay in bed for a year and never do
anything I will turn eighty-eight.

Anybody can grow older. That doesn't take any talent or ability. The
idea is to grow up by always finding opportunity in change. Have no
regrets.

The elderly usually don't have regrets for what we did, but rather
for things we did not do. The only people who fear death are those
with regrets.'

She concluded her speech by courageously singing 'The Rose.'

She challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them out in
our daily lives.

At the year's end Rose finished the college degree she had begun all
those years ago.

One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in her sleep. Over two
thousand college students attended her funeral in tribute to the
wonderful woman who taught by example that it's never too late to be
all you can possibly be.

These words have been passed along in loving memory of ROSE.

REMEMBER, GROWING OLDER IS MANDATORY. GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL.
We make a Living by what we get, We make a Life by what we give.

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage. If God brings you to
it, He will bring you through it.

This story tells us something about LOVE & LIFE....
Here it goes...

My husband is an Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature
and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders.

Two years of courtship and now, five years into marriage, I would have
to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him
before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness.

I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to
a relationship and my feelings. I yearn for the romantic moments, like a
little girl yearning for candy. My husband is my complete opposite; his
lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into
our marriage has disheartened me about LOVE.

One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.

"Why? " he asked, shocked.

"I am tired. There are no reasons for everything in the world !" I answered.

He kept silent the whole night, seemingly in deep thought. My feeling
of disappointment only increased. Here was a man who was not able to
even express his predicament, so what else could I expect from him?

And finally he asked me: "What can I do to change your mind?"

Somebody said it right... It's hard to change a person's personality, and
I guess, I have started losing faith in him.

Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered: "Here is the question. If
you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind.

Let's say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and
we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death. Will you
do it for me?"

He said: " I will give you your answer tomorrow...." My hopes just sank
by listening to his response.

I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper
with his scratchy handwriting underneath a milk glass, on the dining
table near the front door, that goes....

My dear, "I would not pick that flower for you, but....please allow me
to explain the reasons further.....

This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading.

"When you use the computer you always mess up the Software programs,
and you cry in front of the screen. I have to save my fingers so that I
can help to restore the programs.

You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to
rush home to open the door for you.

You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city. I have to save
my eyes to show you the way.

You always have the cramps whenever your "good friend" approaches
every month. I have to save my palms so that I can calm the cramps in
your tummy.

You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by
infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories
to cure your boredom.

You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for
your eyes. I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can
help to clip your nails and help to remove those annoying white hairs.
So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you
enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand...and tell you the colour
of flowers, just like the colour of the glow on your young face...

Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you
more than I do... I could not pick that flower yet, and die ... " My tears
fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting. ..And as I continue
on reading... "Now, that you have finished reading my answer, and if you
are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside
bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk...

I rushed to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching
tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread....Now I am very
sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided
to leave the flower alone...

That's LIFE, and LOVE. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling
of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that
lies in between the peace and dullness.

Love shows up in all forms; even in very small and cheeky forms. It has
never been a model. It could be the dullest and most boring form ...

Flowers, and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface
of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands... AND
THAT'S LIFE

The moral of this story...

Most of the time we do not appreciate people around us, they may not
good in expressing their feelings but it doesn't mean that they don't love
u. If they aren't good at expressing love, then why don't we take the
first step to show some love??? Great day ahead my friends.

What Love is?

The story begins like this...

'How long will you be poring over that newspaper? Will you come here
right away and make your darling daughter eat her food?'

I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene. My only daughter
Sindu looked frightened. Tears were welling up in her eyes. In front of
her was a bowl filled to its brim with Curd Rice.

Sindu is a nice child, quite intelligent for her age. She has just turned
eight. She particularly detested Curd Rice. My mother and my wife
are orthodox, and believe firmly in the 'cooling effects' of Curd Rice!

I cleared my throat, and picked up the bowl. "Sindu, darling, why don't
you take a few mouthful of this Curd Rice? Just for Dad's sake, dear.
And, if you don't, your Mom will shout at me.'

I could sense my wife's scowl behind my back. Sindu softened a bit,
and wiped her tears with the back of her hands. 'OK, Dad. I will eat -
not just a few mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should...'
Sindu hesitated. 'Dad, if I eat this entire Curd Rice, will you give me
whatever I ask for?'

'Oh sure, darling'.

'Promise?'

'Promise'. I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with
mine, and clinched the deal.

'Ask Mom also to give a similar promise', my daughter insisted. My
wife slapped her hand on sindu's, muttering 'Promise', without any
emotion.

Now I became a bit anxious. 'Sindumma, you shouldn't insist on getting
a computer or any such expensive items. Dad does not have that kind of
money right now. OK?'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive'. Slowly and painfully, she
finished eating the whole quantity. I was silently angry with my wife
and my mother for forcing my child eat something that she detested.

After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide
with expectation. All our attention was on her. 'Dad, I want to have
my head shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand!

'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'a girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!'.

'Never in our family!' my mother rasped. 'She has been watching too much
of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!'

'Sindumma, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing
you with a clean-shaven head.'

'No, Dad. I do not want anything else', Sindu said with finality.

'Please, Sindu, why don't you try to understand our feelings?' I tried to
plead with her.

'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that Curd Rice'. Sindu
was in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for. Now,
you are going back on your words. Was it not you who told me the story
of King Harishchandra, and its moral that we should honour our promises
no matter what?'

It was time for me to call the shots. 'Our promise must be kept.'

'Are you out your mind?' chorused my mother and wife.

'No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honour her
own. Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.'

With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked
big & beautiful.

On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch
my hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom. She turned around
and waved.I waved back with a smile. Just then, a boy alighted from
a car, and shouted, 'Sinduja, please wait for me!'

What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. 'May be, that is
the in-stuff', I thought.

'Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed!' Without introducing herself,
a lady got out of the car, and continued, 'That boy who is walking along
with your daughter is my son Harish. He is suffering from ... leukaemia.'

She paused to muffle her sobs. 'Harish could not attend the school for
the whole of the last month. He lost all his hair due to the side effects
of the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school fearing
the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates. Sinduja visited
him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing
issue. But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the
sake of my son! Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble
soul as your daughter.'

I stood transfixed. And then, I wept. 'My little Angel, will you grant me
a boon? Should there be another birth for me, will you be my mother,
and teach me what Love is?'

Life Together...!

One fine day, an old couple around the age of 70, walks into a lawyer's office.
Apparently, they are there to file a divorce.
Lawyer was very puzzled, after having a chat with them, he got their story....
This couple had been quarreling all their 40 over yrs of marriage nothing
ever seems to go right.

They hang on because of their children, afraid that it might affect
their up-bringing. Now, all their children have already grown up, have
their own family, there's nothing else the old couple have to worry about,
all they wanted is to lead their own life free from all these years
of unhappiness from their marriage, so both agree on a divorce....

Lawyer was having a hard time trying to get the papers done, because he
felt that after 40 yrs of marriage at the age of 70, he couldnt understand
why the old couple would still want a divorce..

While they were signing the papers, the wife told the husband..
"I really love u, but i really cant carry on anymore, I'm sorry.."
"Its o.k, i understand.." said the husband. Lookin at this, the
lawyer suggested a dinner together, just 3 of them, wife thought,
why not, since they are still gonna be friends..

At the dining table, there was a silence of awkwardness.
The first dish was roasted chicken, immediately, the old man took
the drumstick for the old lady.."take this, its your favourite.."

Looking at this, the lawyer thought maybe there's still a chance, but
the wife was frowning when she answer.."
This is always the problem, you always think so highly of yourself,
never thought about how I feel, dont you know that i hate drumsticks?"

Little did she know that, over the years, the husband have been trying
all ways to please her, little did she know that drumsticks was the
husband's favourite. Little did he know that she never thought he
understand her at all, little did he know that she hates drumsticks
even though all he wants is the best for her.

That night, both of them couldnt sleep, toss and turn, toss and turn...
after hours, the old man couldnt take it anymore, he knows that he
still loves her, and he cant carry on life without her, he wants her back,
he wants to tell her, he is sorry, he wanted to tell her "i love you"...

He picks up the phone, starting dialing her number....ringing never stops..
he never stop dialing....

On the other side, she was sad, she couldn't understand how come after
all these years, he still doesnt understand her at all, she loves him a lot,
but she just cant take it anymore....phone's ringing, she refuses to
answer knowing that its him..."what's the point of talking now that its over...
i have ask for it and now i wanna keep it this way, if not i will lose face..
"she thought...still ringing...she have decided to pull out the cord...

Little did she remember, he have heart problems...

The next day, she received news that he had passed away...she rushed
down to his apartment, saw his body, lying on the couch still holding on
to the phone...he had a heart attack when he was still trying to get
through her phone line....

As sad as she could be...she will have to clear his belongings.. .when she
was looking thru the drawers, she saw this insurance policy, dated from
the day they got married, with the beneficiary being her... And together
in those file, there was this note...

"To my dearest wife, by the time you're reading this, I'm sure I'm no
longer around, I bought this policy for you, though the amount is only
$100k, I hope it will be able to help me continue my promise that i have
made when we got married, I might not be around anymore, I want
this amount of money to continue taking care of you, just like the way
I will if I could have live longer. I want you to know I will always be
around, by your side... I love you"

Tears flowed like river......

"When you love someone, let them know... You never know what will
happen the next minute.... Learn to build a life together.. Learn to love
each other. For who they are.. not what they are..."

Such LoVe............ Never See Before!

Really heart touching!!!!
Y we shouldn't like this?
Think of it!!!

Hey, wake up! wake up!

A dog was knocked down by a car and died on the middle of the road. Later, another dog is
seen beside the corpse of the dog, he tried to wake his friend up using his leg.

Let's move to the safer side of the road...i will move you to the safer side!

When his attempts to wake his friend failed, he tried to push his friend to the side of the
road. But the weight of his friend was proven too heavy for him.

Anyone help, tell me what to do.

Though the traffic is busy and dangerous, he just will not go away from his friend. Just
stand beside his friend howling and crying.

A lot of people saw this incident and feel very touched.

How even a dog can show his loyalty and love to his friend.

Have a bit of patience to read fully, after going thru the photos....!!

Lessons on Life

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen. The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral lessons:

Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.

Don't judge life by one difficult season.

Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

Most Important Body Part

My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body..?
Through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer.
When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as
humans, so I said, "My ears, Mommy." She said "No-Many people are
deaf.. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."

Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first
attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her,
"Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes."
She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is
not correct because there are many people who are blind.."

Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years,
Mother asked me a couple more times and always her answer was, "No. But
you are getting smarter every year, my young child."

Then last year, my grandpa died. Everybody was hurt.
Everybody was crying. Even my father cried. I remember that
especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry.
My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final goodbye
to Grandpa. She asked me, "Do you know the most important body part
yet, my son..?"

I was shocked when she asked me this now. I always thought this was a
game between her and me. She saw the confusion on my face and told me,
"This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in
your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you
was wrong and I have given you an example why. But today is the day you
need to learn this important lesson.." She looked down at me as only a
mother can. I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "Son, the most
important body part is your shoulder . . ."

I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head..?" She replied, "No, it is
because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they
cry. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my son.
I only hope that you have enough Love and Friends that you will always
have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.."

Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish
one-it is sympathetic to the pain of OTHERS..

You are my friend and whenever you want, you may cry on my shoulder . . .

Way To Happiness...!

A man and his girlfriend were married. It was a large celebration.
All of their friends and family came to see the lovely ceremony and to
partake of the festivities and celebrations. A wonderful time was had by all.
The bride was gorgeous in her white wedding gown and the groom was
very dashing in his black tuxedo.

Everyone could tell that the love they had for each other was true.

A few months later, the wife comes to the husband with a proposal:
"I read in a magazine, a while ago, about how we can strengthen our marriage."
she offered.

"Each of us will write a list of the things that we find a bit annoying
with the other person. Then, we can talk about how we can fix them
together and make our lives happier together."

The husband agreed. So each of them went to a separate room in the house
and thought of the things that annoyed them about the other. They thought
about this question for the rest of the day and wrote down what they came up with.
The next morning, at the breakfast table, they decided that they would go over their
lists..

"I'll start," offered the wife. She took out her list. It had many items on it.
Enough to fill 3 pages, in fact. As she started reading the list of the little annoyances,
she noticed that tears were starting to appear in her husband

The Box

A young man learns what's most important in life from the guy next door.

It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, girls,
career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved clear across
the country in pursuit of his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life,
Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend
with his wife and son.
He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.

Over the phone, his mother told him, "Mr. Belser died last night. The
funeral is Wednesday." Memories flashed through his mind like an
old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.

"Jack, did you hear me?"

"Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It's been so long since I thought of
him. I'm sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago," Jack said..

"Well, he didn't forget you. Every time I saw him he'd ask how you were
doing. He'd reminisce about the many days you spent over 'his side of
the fence' as he put it," Mom told him.

"I loved that old house he lived in," Jack said.

"You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Belser stepped in to make
sure you had a man's influence in your life," she said.

"He's the one who taught me carpentry," he said.

"I wouldn't be in this business if it weren't for him. He spent a lot of
time teaching me things he thought were important... Mom, I'll be there
for the funeral," Jack said.

As busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his
hometown.

Mr. Belser's funeral was small and uneventful. He had no children of his
own,and most of his relatives had passed away.

The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to
see the old house next door one more time.

Standing in the doorway, Jack paused for a moment. It was like crossing
over into another dimension, a leap through space and time.

The house was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories.
Every picture, every piece of furniture....Jack stopped suddenly.

"What's wrong, Jack?" his Mom asked.

"The box is gone," he said.

"What box? " Mom asked.

"There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I
must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he'd ever
tell me was 'the thing I value most,'" Jack said.

It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack
remembered it, except for the box. He figured someone from the Belser
family had taken it.

"Now I'll never know what was so valuable to him," Jack said. "I better
get some sleep. I have an early flight home, Mom."

It had been about two weeks since Mr. Belser died. Returning home
from work one day Jack discovered a note in his mailbox.

"Signature required on a package. No one at home. Please stop by the
main post office within the next three days," the note read.

Early the next day Jack retrieved the package.

The small box was old and looked like it had been mailed a hundred
years ago. The handwriting was difficult to read, but the return address caught his attention.

"Mr. Harold Belser" it read.

Jack took the box out to his car and ripped open the package. There
inside was the gold box and an envelope.

Jack's hands shook as he read the note inside.

"Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett.
It's the thing I valued most in my life." A small key was taped to the
letter.

His heart racing, as tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the
box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch. Running his
fingers slowly over the finely etched casing, he unlatched the cover.

Inside he found these words engraved: "Jack, Thanks for your time..!
Harold Belser."

"The thing he valued most.. was.. my time . . ."

Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his office and cleared
his appointments for the next two days.

"Why?" Janet, his assistant asked.

"I need some time to spend with my son..," he said.

"Oh, by the way, Janet.. thanks for your time..!"

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away . . . "

Why God really give pain...

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen...

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.

Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

BE BLESSED & BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS

Time Will Tell

Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived; happiness, sadness, knowledge, and all the others, including love.

One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave. Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under, Love decided it was time to leave. She began looking for someone to ask for help.

Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked, "Richness, Can I come with you on your boat?"
Richness answered, " I'm sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."
Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel.
Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please."

"I can't help you", Vanity said, "You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."
Next, Love saw Sadness passing by.
Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with you."
Sadness answered, "Love, I'm sorry, but, I just need to be alone now."
Then, Love saw Happiness.

Love cried out, " Happiness, please take me with you."
But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to him. Love began to cry.

Then, she heard a voice say, "Come Love, I will take you with me." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.

Love then found Knowledge and asked, "Who was it that helped me?"
"It was Time", Knowledge answered.
"But why did Time help me when no one else would?", Love asked.

Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered,
"Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."

In the picture, just look at their condition.. no place to sleep, still they have made some space for d cat n d dog... water pouring from the roof but still each 1 of them have a peaceful smile on their face.. Simply amazing!!!!!

The happiest people in the world are not those who have no problems,
but those who learn to live with things that are less than perfect.
Keep Smiling Always.

A WONDERFUL STORY

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat."

"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

"No", she replied. "He's out."

"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.

"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"

The woman went out and invited the men in"

"We do not go into a House together," they replied.

"Why is that?" she asked.

One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How n ice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"

His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"

Their daughter was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"

"Let us heed our daughter's advice," said the husband to his wife.

"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."

The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."

Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"
