hello all,
i have a question for all u experts out there. u see, i was very interested in changing my gsr side mounted intercooler to the front mounted vr4 220 intercooler. so, the issue here is the lag. i know that changing intercooler means lag bcoz i do not plan to change my td04 to a td05. however, i heard that the intercooler pipping is the one that can make the difference. i was told that the intercooler pipping with different diameters will reduce the lag. that means different parts/angles of the pipping hv different diameters to reduce the lag.....so....my question now is....is that possible????? if so, does anyone know where to do it??

cheers

The general rule is to use the shortest route for the i/c piping, refrain from using sharp angled bend/turns and large oversized diameter pipings to improve and maintain cfm.

exactly......to know how to fix the i/c, not all will do that....so i need to know..where and who can do that....coz i do not wanna change turbo. 1st, no point, 2nd my gsr internals won't take it....so, joeker, really much appreciated that u answered my post...but need to know where can i do this and can they do what u just said?

cheers

I can think of 3 good places.

AH Exhaust in USJ

JFA in Sunway and Pandan

Jian Hang in Batu Caves (or is it Segambut)

But their fee is rather heavy.
