kenari for a proton preve

Well, since they are testing the car, by all means crash test is a bonus then

No idea. I don't think is as expensive as the Lotus R3 Neo? Ya is more like a track car.
No carpets nothing.

Yes, it is covered, logically. Hahaha.

If the test mule is crashed and the camouflage part has gone off, then people will know how it looks like.

Other satria can also strip the parts out but this clubsport has done it first before handing you the keys. You can say that for that car, you pay more for less. Less interior parts and less weight compared to the cheaper normal Satria Neo.

Can sell for parts too.
Or suddenly you crave for comfort, just put in mats and stuffs. :hahaha:
Anyways, if its road legal, it's hard to get approval for roll cage.
I personally think a buses need roll cage.
See how fragile is the top is?

Save hassle for removing

But then is more of a track car than a daily car. I mean if it rains, without those mats, water will be flowing around. Nothing to absorb.

Buses with roll cages, once the roll cage snaps, it will get more people killed in a more
gruesome way.

Its already breaking the thing anyways, and most busus fall sideways, i think.

Maybe they should just put in the floor mat... I mean, how much a floor mat can make a car heavier. Just slightly heavier only.

Hmm...A very good question. I also wondering why need to strip it to bear metal. Seats I understand removing it, it helps.

strip till bare metal to remove all deadening stuff, after remove carpet it's not easy to put back plus that carpet got some weight, cannot put floor mat on bare metal because it will slide around as there no carpet to stick the floor mat to,

bare metal will mean more easy access for maintenance and repair plus less source for fire

that my logic anyway

Kinda make sense though. Easier to do repairs and etcs is just what I can think of. Other than
that like lighter weight or fire hazard. Never thought of that.

Update: I have found a Nissan Latio Impul version, nismo exhaust, bodykit and rim 17 inch, RM63k, mileage 38000km. is it worth it? BTW, it is a 2007 model.

7 Years car still that costly? A Toyota Altis 1.8L 2005 would just cost around RM50K+
But given that the mileage of that Impul Latio is low though. Acceptable i guess.

carpets alone already close to 50kilos

not to mention those thick, dense heavy sound deadening tar all over car body.....i would say including those seats would make a total +-100kilos reduction

Hi guys, finally a call was made, 2014 Alza 1.5 S.E was chosen. Wasn't a bad choice to begin with, lets see how it goes. So far engine wise still not yet power up, but cornering is found quite neutral. But most important is the front bench seat, sssyyyok tuh, hehe! Body ride height is quite low, i already start scrapping the front lips, a little. Brakes not bad, although lot of brake dust, but i am quite happy with the car so far, and i have sold my kenari for this, this better be good.
So is there anything that i must know about this car, performance wise, Thank you to all ZTH Bros!

One more thing, this alza is much more longer and wider than kenari, at the moment still need to get used to it. Power wise is not that immediate compare to kenari, but heavier body weight contributes to a much higher cornering speed and cornering limit.

Alza is a damn far cry from a Preve right. So what make you decide for the Alza over the Preve, other than price and space?

The obedience it provides, it makes up for the lack in handling. I can see potential in alza, although it may lose a little in cornering speed. body structure stiffness is not bad. In Dog Fight the result can change anytime.
Preve on the other hand, to me, doesn't quite able to communicate with the driver, Turbo version in particular, doesn't have manual, causing driver control could not achive 100 %, and turbo only emphasis on acceleration part, and there always be a slight lag whenever you accel from mid speed, and will be a burden when it comes to downhill, and will cause preve to exhaust even before ending the session. Due to no manual version for turbo, with the CVT, your accel pedal concentration will be more to keep the turbo spooling on the right torque rather than maximise tyre grip when going out of a corner. and the same time you will need to keep the turbo to spool at the right amount of torque at the Perfect timing, Weight will play a HUGE part on this as well, My ultimate goal is to get the maximum tyre track and wheel base, while achieving the lowest weight at the same time.
So far Alza is doing well in test session, resulting in quite neutral cornering ability, need to start playing around with tyre pressure some more to find the perfect contact patch for the tyre.

However this is only my opinion and findings, may vary to others, so inputs are welcome. Thx!
