just change my throttle body because occasionally the rpm playing up down around in 750 area when idle. whenever the rpm drop below 750, it injects more fuel so that rpm goes up above 750. but then it goes down again and so on....

so i changed the TB, but the same thing happen. do i need to send the car for tuning after changing the TB? or both the TB is faulty..? or its not TB problem at all? pls advise... doesnt have to be lantis, maybe other mazda car have this kind prob.. tq

How do you confirm ur TB is kong?the way I look at it could be multiple reasons....
A/F ratio inconsistent (due to leak) or AFM gone.....try to check these also bro...
Also try reset comp box by taking off ground terminal and depressiing brake for 30sec at ON mode.

ya..ya.. i talk to kekura already.. i had this problem before. there is a leak between air flow sensor and and TB. i changed the hose, kautim.

ok thanks.. have a rough checking on leaking.. couldnt find one.. maybe have to send to workshop to find out..

also have tried the reset comp box / ECU thing, but havent drive the car yet. 5min tests idle is ok, will need to test on the road soon.

reset comp box didnt work. i'll send to workshop one day to find if got air leaking....

last week on friday; my car died 3 times on my way back from work.
First time with aircond on; than takut....off aircond. But died 2nd time while turning out junction.... than 3rd time also when i didn't floor the pedal.
Even at junctions while stopping I need to floor the pedal while stepping on the brake...somemore raining.
Straight to the point. Next day send to mechanic. My foreman cleaned the throttle body for RM20. Than he told me better get new throttle body. He said if problem still persist would need to go for electronic diagnostic or tuning already.
After changing throttle body until today idling back to normal.
Will get a spare throttle body from MK and wait for the next breakdown than change.
At least mine I think is from that problem.
Good luck!

the foreman take it out and clean or just spray something inside the TB? and how much will cost for used TB? for kekura case i sure his is 1.6

took it out and clean...but didn't see how he cleaned it.
