I didnt say vvti for 2 k also ? i said auto soarers are about 2 k plus . soarer pre 96 are non vvti which fecth about 2 k plus , i havent seen a vvti soarer half cut here before except for the chaser .

YOu obviously need a aftermarket management to run the 1jz in your altezza as the standard ecu will not match . And also the auto gearbox in the soarer will not fit . Thats why i said you need a manual soarer halfcut to get it running. Or maybe you can run the 1jz with your auto box iam not sure

your question to the diffrent gearboxes in a soarer i ll clear it up for you.

Auto soarer (cant remember the code for the gearbox a430 or something

manual soarer r154

older supra also r 154 with some diffrences to the bell housing

6 speed supra v160

5 speed supra i think its w58

altezza 6 speed manual j160

as i know... if u buy a auto h/cut then u transpant to manual,the ecu can use back but need to modified it as well... my mechanic has been done a lot b4...
