there are a few versions, older versions use 5537, newer ones uses 0450, latest one uses siemens ones....

eh sorry2... that's the ecu no... for airflow sensor no. 4g93p's uses 455, 449 and the siemens i don't know what no....

i have a friend who has a full complete set putra 1997 engine , done quite alot of modifications already , such as engine balancing , bigger pistons , port & polish head , bigger tb , comes with wirings & ecu , his letting it go for a cheap price RM 1800 engine can be view at GT auto sunway , if the engine is still there , as in toby didn't throw it away la :) . PM vestax if you guys are interested .

Thanks Dremel...Just my luck you came around. It's like a wish come true man. Quite cheap compared to other places I've enquired before. This price is for you only or everyone?

Bro, you mentioned there that the ecu, wiring and air flow only changed. What about the trottle body, inlet manifold and distributor (crank/cam sensor)? wouldn't that not need to be changed as well?

This wiring and ECU comes from old Putra's and GTi's or are they halfcuts from Japan?

Do let me know, I'm really interested.

TB.. inlet manifold and distributor are included !

in short.. every 'siemens' stuff in your car will be replaced to mitsu's

and will use gti(mitsu) wiring

Thanks Dremel...knew something was missing. But this is a good deal i must say.

So bro just to get things clear, they'll be replacing all the siemens stuff with mitsu right. But are these stuff from halfcuts from japan? I'm asking this because worried about the speed/rev cut.
