yes..got a hong-kong characters embossed..do no what it means.

most probably kakimotor.

cheapest alternative. get a local made fibreglass bullet(this one will absorb exhaust/engine frequencies which makes the loud bassy noises) and install in the middle section of your exhaust system.

cost u maybe rm200-300. can buy from any exhaust shop

cheapest mah....

i just changed the mufler..with local made one. the noise reduced, the performance so so la..:itsme:

If ur looking for a S-flow exhaust made in Japan...u better up ur budget if not it will be like 'Tin Kosong' exhaust.

My feeling will be loss of power and might even affect yr petrol consumption.....My experience is I had fixed a header fabricated locally b4 and the consequences was really bad. Loss of torque, power and very very bad consumption. Had to removed it after a week....

u can get this fibreglass bullet anywhr from any exhaust shop. Our oem centre pipe has 2 of this small bullets. they are filled with a type of fibreglass. This is to absorb the engine's annoying frequencies that generate loud/bassy noises. Of course local made ones are so-so quality only but can last u maybe few years but the are cheaper.

I mean u must replace the entire bullet, means u will have to cut n weld the new local made bullet onto ur centre pipe. take out the old one...

shouldnt be a problem

anyone re-fibre their mid muffler and tail muffler b4 ?
is it just as simple as cut open, re-insert & weld back ?
will the performance be same ?
