Looking for :-

VVT vs Adjustable pulley....BRo EG9...where are you...heheh

Better stick with VVT pulley if you running on stock ECU.
You can get good power from both side adjustable cam pulley if u use cam dial gauge to set the cam at correct degree which I think many workshop didn't do it. it's just give u the max power and your prefer power band and won't increase the housre power.
But will increase respond if do it properly.

let said if install a toda 272 cam with stock ecu , so need to change the pulley to adjustable type or just use stock pulley?

so the 272 cam for intake or exhaust or both same degree ?
or intake 272 , exhaust 288 ?

The one simple rule that you have to follow is this - For cams with a duration of under about 270°, you want the cam lobes to be at about 110-110, and above about 270° have the lobe centres at about 100-100.
(note that this is a general rule, and each engine will require fine tuning to get the last little bit out of it, but the actual figures will almost invariably be to within 2° or maybe 3° of those numbers, eg, 100-100 may up ending being 98-102, and 110-110 being 108-113)

You can't get Max power from the Toda cam if you're still using stock ECU.
Maybe it will be worst the ur stock HP. But you'll feel respond do increase in some certian powerband.

What ppl normally think is they just need to slap in the after market race cam to harvest the power from the engine, actually it's not 100% correct. You still need to set and tune the cam degree to get the max power.
Beside that AFR may change due to different cam degree and lift on the after market cam. You have to compensiate back and fine tune it to you desire AFR and ignition timing in order to achive the power that you want. BUT you're not able to do it with your stock ECU.
Imagine stock engine with stock ECU which fine tune for stock cam VS Engine with race cam + non- tuned fuel map. Which one will have optimum power?

Please invest in standalone as well. You won't regret it.

I currently running my stock engine with standalone and just fine tune it with Innovate Wide band 02 sensor yesterday night. The result is great. Love it!!!

eg9.......good for you bro...

olskol....go trial, trd 0.8 rm 280 or toda 0.6 rm 680

Bro, Install the cam already?
The cam degree is ok to run with stock ECU. Just maintain the VVT pulley.
You can use adjustable cam pulley on exhaust side.

So, going to join this saturday night drift event?

very hard to get that degree of cam with very good price.
Fast way - - Get a new unit, wide range of CAM duration choice.
If not urgent- - Just wait and see anyone wanna let go their cam. May not be the spec that you want.
