Manifold - Ceramic Coating Vs Thermal Wrapping

nice nice... if there is no smell at 1st startup, it is a genuine ceramic coating u dont have to put your nose to smell it, by just turning on the AC the smell will be noticable... if it is paint... it will whatsoever release fumes.... the fumes are a mandatory since paint are "wet" and have other solvent agents.

i think my works wont insulate heat, just to protect the external from harsh environment.... better be a layer than none hehehe. yeah it will peel off, and i wanna see how long it will last...

does the manifold releases any fumes or gas at 1st heat up?

I dont notice this issue, at 1st heat up, the engine running for 3 minutes (heat enough) then i closed the bonnet and droven away, i dont get any smell each time open the bonnet after that..

the hi-temp resistance paint you referred as what i believe the painting same as the purple paint used at Apexi Spiral, the paint will peel off after some times, or i should say after few years..for heat insulation ? let u tell us..

where to get these termal paint?whats the price like?
 
my version of coating... i dunno whether it will stand the heat abuse, it costs RM40, using manifold hi temp paint.... will report the result.

at this moment my customer told me the paint still intact

hi corollagtouring,remember me? im still using this header,yeah at first start there is a 'smoke' of paint coming out from the header but it only lasts for less than a minute,still using this manifold until today,great product with great price,thk to you
