If i convert my Satria to look like a Porsche 911, do u think I'll be able to join a Porsche 911 Club?

nvm-laa, people want to form exclusive clubs, who are we to say they are wrong? If I form a "original satria owners club" and i forbid converted satria owners eg. with 4G92, Mivec, etc. from joining, why wd i be regarded as "arrogant"? want to join, follow rules, don't want/cannot join, form own club!

whitenite - that's the issue fren, u should get the copy of the issue and go thru urself, even the writer at that time was a close fren of mine told me this...

When they did the interview, thay hardly said it to inform others, in order those people will not bother them...

like ur case, if u forbits those converted satria's to join ur club, the results is u don't have much members' in ur club...means its not a strong club....

MEOC, they dont have much members' and their club is only strong because of what they drive and not the relationship of their members'....

The key word is Exclusivity. Years ago when Gold Credit Card/lawyers/architects were rare, they commanded much more respect. Now they're more common ...
Don't conclude just becos MEOC restrict their members, therefore they're very stupid cos the results of their action is the cub not strong, etc. Like I said, if a Club wants it that way, they have their own objectives/agenda, who are you/we/anyone to conclude they are stupid/arrogant/whatever.

How do u know? You've attended their function and noted their "weakness/poor relationship among members?
I've attended 1 gathering (over a year ago), I didnt notice what you've concluded.

Have an open mind-lah, fren. You must see the rationale in all these. If I have a Proton club, I can expect members from all ages & walks of life. If I have a Round/peanut-eye Merc club, I tink there will be very few members in their 20s. Likewise if I have a genuine-Evo club ...

Well, for MEOC to let only Evos join, there's actually a reason, imagine this member, which drives a replica, go around the town, and perhaps around Malaysia brag to ppl he's drivin a Replica Evo, askin ppl to race here, race there, like sum newbie, even mention he is a member of MEOC.

This could spoil the "name" of MEOC.

I have seen lots of cases, good and perhaps strong group of clubs, break into pieces of such members. Sumthing like INITIAL D ? Project D ? Altho they race, but they race fair. Well, sumtimes not too fair ?

Perhaps MEOC wants to make it self establish like Ferrari club, Porche club, and bmw club.

They set the rule, we much follow them, heck, even the good ol evo 1 and 2 is not too expensive to own, just get one, and u r entitled to join MEOC, simple as that.

Perhaps we can create a Mitsubishi Lancer Owners Club, MLOC, for lancers and Replicas. Hehehehehehehe. Any interested members ????

Ok let me clear out this thing. Meoc onli open for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution to be more specific. It must run on 4G63 power plant. If in the future Lan Evo came out an new engine onli the club wil change the guideline.

Why we meoc onli accept original evo? b'cuz we want discipline. We r a registered club n we need to setup a tight rulez so our club won;t be blacklisted if we in the future wanna organize any function.
