Just want to know..

What is mivec 1st Gen...and mivec 2nd Gen
I only konw Black top and silver top...

My engine the plastic cover is Black color and the head is silver color..
ppl said that is 1st Gen Mivec...

bro u juz pop up the hook
if u find that the timing belt is on ur right than it is 1st gen
if the timing belt is on ur left that is 2nd gen
2nd gen auto got tiptronik n suitable for waja convertsion
1st gen suitable for wira,satria n putra convertsion

true! the 2nd gen can fit into waja perfectly and the 1st gen is for wira chassis. but bro, there are no such thing as silver and black top in mivec engine cos it have onli one kaler. silver onli maaa!!! no black!!!

mivec is differentiated by the amount of wire driving the mivec cams...
more powerful ones have 2 wires if i not wrong where else the weaker ones have only 1 wire...correct me if i am wrong...
