what player u getting ? Sony ? better avoid that.. afterall is not cheap .. get pioneer, just nice for entry level ..

well .. some ppl like to install bit by bit, but some will install one shot.. it doesn't matter.. not matter which u choose, u need time to tune, and find the best setting that suit ur taste...

it better to install one shot .. coz can save money .. on purchasing the part and installation fees..

Mohawk Orange & Red Series:

and the set u compiled is actually RM 1390, :P
but then no point using that set because the amp supply to 2 woofers, then the comps nobody whallop. :lol: ;)

In this set, u may need a preamp (if your HU only 1 set pre-out), 2 pairs of RCA cables (but if u use preamp, u need 3 sets)...power cable, speaker wires, installation...fuse box....i think thats about it. Capasitor all high-end liow, not my department. :P

I think total budget for this system (including a reasonable HU), about RM2.5k more or less. but 2 subs man, and good amps, blow yr mind. haha

and your second request is if u use only a single orange sub,
i also recommend 2 amps, can fine tune better also. get a pre-amp, lagi wonder-full. hehe. ;) This set is as follows:

1 Mohawk MB700.2 100W x 2 (comps) = RM 340

But for the woofer amp (MB700.2), if u can, i recommend add another RM90 for the MB1000.2 (200W x 2), tune the amp lower to fit the single sub (but still very clear sound as alot of power to play with!), and make way for future upgrades! (can add another 12" orange subbie! :D ;) )

MB700.2 Amp (6.5"comp).....= RM 340
MB700.2 Amp (5.25"comp)...= RM 340

Total...................................= RM 2360

Discounted Price = RM 2220!

Other items u may need: HU (RM ~400-500), Pre-Amp (~200), RCA Cables (about 1 x 5m (1 amp in boot for sub), 2 x 3m (2 amps in cockpit, under seat), 1 x 1feet (for Preamp to HU), altogether maybe around ~RM200. Woofer Box, around ~Rm100. Wiring+Installation, ~RM200. Altogether (depends on what brand u buy), maybe your complete setup around ~RM3.5k. very complete. even higher-end, can use Capasitor, and even a 3-way elec crossover.
