went to the Motul oil website, read it but we all know about the gimmicks of advertisement :)
Anyone USED IT before ?

yeah.. anybadi wanna put in their testismonials?

use any synthetic oil is enough for daily driven car la...
don waste so much money.... somemore is oil name
competition... ehehehe...

Try TOTAL 10w50. it's not bad... kuching can get it
for RM120 4Litres. Dunno about KL tough.

But i'm using castrol 10w40 semi synthetic only. RM75.
itchy itchy wanna swap to fully synthetic...

I've tried, in chronological order:

1. Castrol RS
2. Shell Helix Ultra
3. Motul 300V
4. Q8 F1

So far, in my opinion in order of preference:

1. Q8 F1 & Motul 300V
3. Shell Helix Ultra
4. Castrol RS

The Q8 and Motul makes the engine respond slightly better, engine feels smoother at low rpms. Also oil temp much slower to increase when whacking the car. So far I would rate Q8 and Motul equally, followed by Shell and then Castrol.

;) I personally think that Motul is still the best. It really smooth out your engine.........and makes it run nicely. Try it for youself....then you will know.....Where do you guys usually service your car to get your engine oil changed?

hallo brother,

just 1 simple question la..

im using shell 15w-50 for my waja 1.6.

is it ok, to use until 6500km ? or, what is the best km use for 15w-50 ?

also i travel long distance a lot, so is 6500km is ok or fair ?

other advice from all also welcome.

thank u

Q8 F1 10-50. so far very satisfied with it. I heard synthetic oils (ester based). Ester based oil i heard only Q8,Motul, Chemlube & Torco.

I am not sure what is the difference between ester and non ester based, but i heard ester based is better. Any ideas?

Motul maybe fully imported, hence the price. Torco also. Not sure about Q8 and Chemlube. All others i think bottled locally.

yo bro.sss....

motul ....where to get motul in pG? where in pg car service got motul ooil ?
wanna try man.....i went to speedwork..tried err 1 kind of engine iold cost me RM265 for 4 liter..damn expensive...yurp ofcoz it is very smooth running....but only at till 5k nya...as after dat u dun feel it anymore....

does M-POWER supply motul ? or other brand ?

pls advice

How about if I use Castrol Magnatec and add Tuffoil...would that give me the same smoothness as Motul?

There is a new oil in town called TORCO.Very good reviews. Tried it. Very smooth and more power.YOu guys should check it out.

Yeah.I agree with you that Q8 and Motul performs about the same.My car uses 5 liters. I save about RM 100 if I use Q8 compared to Motul. For me,Motul very expensivela

I think Torco beat Motul flat out in term of performance, respond, engine noise reduction and not least Torco last a whole lot longer than Motul.

if you want Motul in Penang, you should try northern garage. it's available there.
