Hi everyone, I'm back...I've found something very very interesting in my car(Twin Keihin Carburetor) which i wanna know wat the hell is that n to prove whether my car has ECU or not...If i'm not wrong, it IS a ECU...


Any idea of wat it is ?

if u asked me, i wouldnt say it is or not a ecu, cuz ecu`s arent meant to be secured there,second, that is definitely not a carb. it might be a controller for the carb, but i seriously doubt it....try asking our mech.

ok,1 thing i wanna clarify here...my engine is with twin carburetor, they r DEFINITELY carburetors(go n see my 1st post here)..whether it is a ECU or not, i'm not sure..

my car is Honda Integra DB6 with D16Z1 ZC engine with Twin Keihin Carburetor SOHC, auto transmission..no ABS..

urs is 2nd model integra rite? the headlamp is very close to left and right correct?

the autobox is a 4 speeder. it needs an ECU. btw, every car component must have its lebelling. remove the ECU laa... and read the label.

carburettor does not need an ECU. it is designed to create gas vapour by itself and then passed into the intake manifold.

can i tau which years of wira hv mitsu ecu? how can i identified whether it is a mitsu ecu or siemens ecu?

early wira/satria/putra with EFI all using mitsu ECU.

if not mistaken, since 99 proton start to use siemens ECU. then sometime in 2000/2001 proton's own EMS. the normal one EMS400, the more sportier EMS700 is used in Wira SE.
