1.8 litre, 16 valve SOHC i-VTEC engine with power of ;

2.0 litre, 16 valve DOHC i-VTEC engine with power of;

114kW @ 6200rpm
torque of 188Nm @ 4200rpm

Do u think its fast???? powerful??

About the new range of Civic engines. The reviews I've read so far are on the European version. But they share the same engines so some things do apply. Evo thinks the 1.8 litre one is a bit weedy and unspirited and would rather opt for a diesel than that. The 2.0 litre should be fine though.

Ok, lets get back to car discussion.

This car is said to be a much cleaner car, in terms of emission and also very fuel efficient. Honda were boasting that the 1.8 litre version has the fuel efficiency of a 1.6 lire car and yet has the power characteristic of a 1.8. Apart from the engine, its loaded with lots of features and has a very distinctive new dash. The design is a far cry when they launched the 7th generation ES Civic. Its an absolute looker!

Personally, i'm a great fan of Civic cars and i think it looks fabulous. This is just the 1st version of it. Can't imagine how stunning it looks when they start selling the 2nd or 3rd facelift. The last batch of any Civic cars are normally the meanest and best looking. And of coz there have been picture circulating about the Mugen upgrade and its got the killer look!

Hmmmmm.....Jap sedans looks nowadays generally look like cocoroach.....kinda chubby too. Don't looked fast or has any visual appeal to me. Or maybe the look got something to do with aerodynamic, interior space maximisation, ergonomics etc.

Somehow, the form of the car just look so-so only...
