Pagani Zonda F

how come all zondas look the same from far?

I mean, their basic design hasnt changed much since i first saw it

A bit of old-school classic & pimping style....sound wierd but in some ways, it actually looks sexy.... ;)

From automative forums

I asked one of the Pagani engineers, and he showed me.

Its NOT a mount point for a fifth (anti-sub) strap harness. Its a knob that twists/pulls out, and allows you to adjust the firmness of the seat cushions (via some type of pneumatic/hydraulic bladder).

Seat felt good to me either way... the interior (carbon fiber and leather coachwork) in a Zonda are IMO as good as it gets. Superior to Lamborghini and at least as good as Ferrari.

I heard that this car was named the Zonda F due to the fact that Juan Manuel Fangio had a big influence on Horciano Pagani (I think that's his name)... if that's the case, does Zonda S mean Senna?

Speaking about the car, it looks pretty beautiful. The interior needs some getting used to.. but it's good. :D

Nah. Horatio Pagani and Juan Manuel Fangio were great friends. You know being Argentinians in Italy and all. So Pagani wanted to name the Zonda after Fangio but he died before it was completed or something. Then Pagani changed his mind and named it Zonda instead, after some mountain or something. The S and F after it is a mystery.

Zonda is the name of the wind blows in Andes mountains.( Zonda pass)
Originaly, the car was to be named Fangio F1 ,after Fangio, the ex-Mercedes driver agreed as long as a Mercedes-Benz engine was used.
After Fangio's death Haracio changed the name to avoid ppl from thinking that he's taking advantage on Fangio's great fame.
C stands for Group-C cars, 12 = V12 engine, S= perhaps sports or something...just to distinguish between the 408hp C12 and 555hp C12S i think.
