I would like to know the market price for wira 1.5 manual gearbox year 2005. Anyone care to tell me?

u better get the quotations from Proton. Ori in this case is better. It shouldn't exceed rm1.6k.....without instllation.

u mean recon gearbox, but not very cheap also ...cost 200-300 difference only from the ori price...probably u can get it from EON service centre...

last year i bought 1.5 gbox at halcut was about RM600-RM700....
maybe u can get below than RM1K

that's the correct price range. RM600-RM1000.

as used items have no ceiling price, the dealers will play the price with you. it all depends on demands, supplies and how bad u want it.

negotiate at your best!

figure this sample...

one wira 1.5 half cut is about RM2000 (dealers buying price, not selling price)
1) engine sells at about RM700 (without auxiliaries like alternator, carb, starter motor)
2) bonnet sells at RM150
3) bumper sells at about RM100
4) Headlamp sells at RM100-120 (used but original)
5) one side fender sells at RM80
6) one side knuckle arm sells at RM200
7) one side lower arm sells at RM100
8) one side driveshaft sells at RM180-300
9) radiator sells at RM250
10) air-cond condenser sells at about RM250
11) front radiator support panel sells at about RM100
12) one side chassis member @ apron @ wheelhouse sells at RM200
13) engine centre crossmember sells at RM50
14) suspension crossmember sells at RM300

and VOILA!..he's more than making money already. whether u want the gearbox or not, he wont bother. if he says thats the lowest price..juz accept it laa..he he :D

the price structure applies to almost every car and at every half cut shop. i believe for wira 1.5 EFI it would be the same.
