Question about tyre, rim and speedo meter

Greetings to all members,

I am not sure whether someone has already ask this before, but please

do help me clarify the doubts.

We know that most of car owners will change the original rim to a

bigger size rim for comfortable, stable and handling.

Let say a standard Wira using 175/70/13, most people will change to

195/50/15 or 195/55/15 or 205/45/16. When we change to such

sizes, i am sure the speedo meter will not showing the accurate of

speed and milleage.

Is there any way which we can adjust back the real speed and milleage

display ?

thinner profile tyres will give u less comfort la bro, its the other way around
its very minimal for the speedo to run, maybe 5kmh , want to get it right ? get a RSM meter :)

So when your speedo reads 70mph, you're actually travelling at 70.1mph

175/70/13 --> 195/55/15
So when your speedo reads 70mph, you're actually travelling at 72.47mph

175/70/13 --> 205/45/16
So when your speedo reads 70mph, you're actually travelling at 71.91mph

Weird thing just happened to my speedometer yesterday.

My Kancil's speedometer is a little little bit jerky after I release my accelerator. My car is slowing down yeah, and the speedometer is going down, but it jerks up and down about 1mm while going down. Any idea?

So very minimal differences for these type or wheels ya..
er.. i often saw a 4wd trucks such as frontier, ranger and etc here in my place using extra wide rim and tyres but with smaller diameter. i think that would make the speedometer over reading a lot.
