R3 products are available from R3 and selected Proton Edar showrooms. Application available for Wira 1.3/1.5/1.6/1.8, Satria GTi/Putra, Waja and Gen.2.

R3 dampers plug and play with SGTis, so no worries there. A whole set of dampers/springs should cost RM1.3K.

Contact Faisal for details.

Ouch. That was more than I had expected.
I guess Ill have to find out more about the setup before making any commitments.

Many thanks...

The springs are rated 2.5kg/mm front and 1.6kg/mm rear. People who have sat in a SR3 are amazed that it is so comfortable despite its handling prowess.

It is a lot like how Lotus does its suspension + ride/handling. Does not have to be super-hard to be good.

R3 does not sell the Recaro seats.

Are the absorbers any different from the standard GTi ones?
Got to get a ride in a R3 one day...

R3 damper and spring cost 1.3 k??
So will it be better than others aftermarket adjustable coilovers brands like HWL, GAB interm of handling and comforts?

Which do u thinks wil be much affortable and better.?? need some advice n comment here.

Think of R3 dampers as one of the best OEM dampers you can buy. It's like being able to buy EK9 dampers for your EJ Civic, compared to the likes of HKS Hipermax.

They have been tuned differently. Has different ride and handling characteristics as compared to the SGTi.

Call Amin should you be interested in fitting Satria R3 dampers and spring on your SGTi. Several GTI have done so and are satisfied with the results.

Amin can be contacted at 016 2298717

Actually the rear springs are stiffer 1.8kg/mm. And the dampers have been tuned for a more "exciting" ride.

Actually the spring are Progressive only for fitting and preload purposes.

Once installed the rate is Linear.

y still got no ppl answer my question???
