RB26 auto

I got met 1 skyline mbr here RB26 wth auto transmission in R34 4 Doors. It`s possible and mostly auto gearbox is RWD...gear ratio also different,so power band, torque and top speed will be in different range.cheers

thanks for the info bro . did he give u any details abt the conversion.wah one of its kind!

The conversion done at GT auto.Hw details then i think u need to inquiry the GT auto mechanic.Hopefully the owner here can describe for u too :)

Basicly :
4wd->2wd and inserting of torque converter/bell housing. The messy is wiring/ECU

I think it would be less hassle if get a tranny from Stagea RS Four for AT 4WD

Opsss sorry my mistake :

Autech 260RS stagea is MT 4wd only

RS Four Stagea is AT 4wd .... but if talking abt GTT conversion then better wth FR gearbox.

I`m not pretty sure hw GTT tiptronic conversion done but AT trans seems fragile on big HP.Unless being modified and change racing torque converter.

I do send stuff back Malaysia frm Japan..... u also can deal wth my fren shp Drift House(USJ) or Motorsports Playground(Sunway).TQ

bro any parts we want can just pm u for quote and pay thru drift house or motorsports playground?

Yes and can either the shop.Coz the shop might have ready stock for most Nissan parts.

[email protected] Hopefully here could be a forum place only, anytng just email there.TQ

*sorry slightly off topic*
kaminari: Are you currently in tokyo? will u be there as well next week? any possibility of meeting up.. I need some pointers for locating spare parts shops when I'm there next week...

Cheers,

use a jatco 4ER18B box off a VK45. Tail shaft and bell housing needs some mod work. That's the easy part... best to just use a ER34 auto with uprated torque converter and valve body. I think Chico in japan can supply both....

thanks 4the info imagine driving 700bhp with auto....my wife also can drive....best part no worries during jam!

to rebuild rb25 auto tranny with higher stall converter dont coz much nowdays....thanx to easily availabl parts and buddies from overseas....

Sorry to korek this fossilized thread.

This morning I terpikir... if I don't sell my bnr32 I might just try to do this, install an auto from a stagea 4wd and have one of the few auto rb30 bnr32 in the world. Many people will call me crazy but with auto I can drive to work and back everyday through the jam.

By the way, this is one AUTO rb30 bnr32 that I know of:

BMS has auto gbox for 4wd, if you are running Haltech then should be alright. Jetco (nissan) are tough gbox's. Auto with big power feels like freight train when you step on the gas...the acceleration is just awesome

email them , friendly people. MV automatics cater more towards fast road performance but they are kind of slow when it comes to customer service...you can opt for stage 1 ,stage 2 or stage 3.

or you can opt for 2jz transmission (auto) , can get you the adapters to mate it to th rb26 but not too sure if can be used for 4wd.
standard 2jz auto you are looking at 400 to 500bhp
