remove front passenger seat

I'm wondering if it's legal to remove the front passenger seat. cuz want to reduce weight.
Will the car still be road legal?

as far as i know....nope

even removing rear seats is illegal....car needs to have full interior afaik

Do what I did, I removed all interior plastics except the door panel and dash. Hehe

how bout cars with 2+2 seating, like the civic hatch or crx.
is it ok to remove the rear seats?
