Thinking to change it to Candy Black or GREY (dark color).
Grey colour now..

Could you advice the pro and con about it.
Such as the reliability of the coating.
Easy clean the brake dust? Or sticky type paint? Prefer it to easily clean.
How long the approximate life time of the paint? Easily crack or such?
Paint correction can be done if “calar” or else…?
Or need to repaint all over again?

Powder coating is a process that uses static electricty to cause powder pigments to adhere to the part. It is then baked in an oven at 300 to 400F degrees. The heat causes the powder to "melt" into smooth coating that is very scratch resistant. Cured properly it won't chip, peel, or come unglued. Time and temp are different for different powders and substrates. The powder is usually an epoxy that is much harder span more longer and hard to scratch than liquid base paint.
its easy to clean if you choose gloss or semi gloss finish.
since the powder coating is base from powder, i dont think it can b touch up like liquid base paint otherwise you need to restrip n recoating again. :)
