rotated turbo mounting?

Hm... perhaps this question i should post in Subaru forum to be more exact. however, i do read this method apply on other makes car be4 in magazine.

I often read thru magazine that saying "X turbo, rotated through x degress is then installed".... may i know what does it mean?
