savvy (M) 1.2 clutch problem

hi guys,

my savvy 1.2's clutch feels very heavy when i depress the pedal.. sometimes when the car is about to take off.. there will be a loud 'plonkkk' sound coming from underneath the car.
do you think these two issues are related?

You can go savoc.net and look at how to lubricate the clutch cable. Savvy is a cheap car that requires lots of DIY repairs. I have one, once you get used to it, it will be worth it.
