SGTi, worth to buy?

Handling of course SGTI better then Putra, Because
the suspension is tune by "Lotus" and it come with 16" rims.

Looks? satria have = 1.3, 1.5, 1.6 and GTI.
Many ppl buy 1.3 convert to GTI. but

Putra only have 1.8m & 1.8a. I prefer Putra.

It's not just about handling. It's a pride to be an owner of a SGti. Especially when you join the club. We get sponsored, get police to escort during convoi (Thailand's police also escort!) get special track day with lotus club, we get the chance to give our feedback to Proton factory about new cars / prototypes etc. Black color on the SR3, it's SGti club suggestion.

What is the different between one person driving an EK9 and one driving EK3 souped up tp EK9 bodykit? Only the one with the real EK9 will know. Same goes to Sgti.

they can omly try to be but they can never be...
only real lover of gti will know how to differentiate...
imitations has no arb.. and their wheels look funny with the Gti bodykit...
love SGTi....
but it's ur money dude~!
putra is nice too...but if u r looking for nice condition manual...dun place high hope on it...unless u wan a auto tranny...
as in GTi...u can still find a good condition used car...

All good fast cars sure got high risk of theft. Just make sure you invest in a couple of good alarms and big steering lock.

Putra is also very high on the thieves list. But the best, I think is the Wira C99 1.8 DOHC. Those are powerful, look good, yet are sleeper enough not to attract too much attention.

my spoiler got ripped off my car after 2 weeks of getting my gti ^^; its now all cheap fibre, bumper oso rosak fender dented lol... haih, sometimes regret buying.
