anybody done this? i want to strengthen my sa22 chassis. where can i do it? where can custom make undercarriage brace?

wow.... smells like that's pretty fierce mod coming up... need body strengthening until that level.....

share with us what kind of mod are u planning to put into the so stiff body....

i believe those makat place able to do spot weld.... but depending on how quality work you're looking at....

there are 2 types

1. just spot weld on A pillar, and the under carraige
2. strip entire car and spot weld every single slice of metal.

i think our fren Sideswaygrey is doing something like that....in seremban.

JFA Motorsport in Sunway area does that. Seen him prepping up a track car quite some time back.

WRC Motorsports in Sg Buloh is another. You can check up with Matspeed as well...though I don't have their contacts. Anyone in here can help?

Cheers

yeah, I did for my track car. The mech actually uses a special type of drill bit to push the metal together and sorta make a bump on it. Then he welds that spot and applies paint over it. This method is much better compared to normal spot welding where they just weld a small portion every 1-2".

This is a good example.

All welded according to OEM spec and the gam applied
