Am thinking of changing my suspension. Anyone's got any recommendation? SR4 civic SOHC non-vtec. There are a few that I am considering, GAB, APM and Tokico. Any has any comments on either of these brands? I am looking for a sports set up..budget about RM 1200...any opinion would be good...

i have one HWL suspension for sport setup.

Willing to sell at rm800 only.

:) pm me if interested.

tein coilovers that you may buy in hafkat might be a bit hard le... check for the spring rate for all the springs first. might be too hard for your liking

If you talking about Tokico stock absorber, well, it is just a stock absorber.

APM short stroke yellow color one? tested it before rear one passanger (left)kong prematurely AFTER 1 year 2 months.front still okay after 2 years using it

GAB? so so la... coupled with Eibach will be nice

for budget rm1200 , hmm that will be tight

unless you want to get second hand abs which i dont recommend since you wont know the history... if springs still be okay although ... hmm well second hand item what do you expect.

you may also ge ITR springs coupled with new absorbers of your choice... i say if you stretch your budget to rm2K you may get brand new GAB hi low suspension

just my 2 cents

torex, your PM box full...what car was the HWL previously in? How long usage, spring rate?

EG8, hows the feel for the APM?

so so la... depends on the driver la... some like it hard, others like me, well, i like it balance, not so hard not so soft. after all we live in Malaysia... if in Japan other story... i coupled it with ITR springs last time... ok la.

You may also check out the Titan abs set, many swear they are good, but good stuff never come cheap, abs rm1800, fully hi low rm2800 comes with springs, can custom made to your liking.

still thinking ( and saving to have 'em )
