Suspension system on EK

would like to share & all comments are welcome,

planning to upgrade the suspension system, need opinion n advice on this matter

whts the best combo (brand new absorber+brand new spring) for daily driving & mild racing frm you guys experienced / knowledge,

gab,kayaba,monroe,koni,.........

eibach,tein,.....

for budget below 1.5k n between 1.5k-2.5k

if ur budget is 1.5-2.5k u can try get koni soft/hard + kgmm spring...
i'm using it for almost 2 years n it served me very well...
both normal driving n 'mild' racing... kekeke

there's always a risk for getting 2nd hand stuff,,

by the way, if just normal driving, need to lowered the car.. change spring enough rite? not need to change the absorber rite? the problem is which lowered spring is better and can fit into stock absorber? driving civic ek3 4 doors ... i see GAB offer RM500 a set

...anyway. my fren use H&R with stock shock in his EK3 4door, the front tire rub the fender when full turn...

i did heard when combine stock part like absorber + aftermarket spring and vice versa somehow cause an early life failure for the system..

do agree when buying 2nd hand parts its depend on our luck..

if budgets allowed...get brand new stocks i would suggest. u wouldnt know the 2nd condition until u use it. well, my personal thought only hehe.

im currently using monroe sensatrac abs. RM900 plus installation. spring... still ori..only lowered.. it's gud enuff dude!

- Bilstein B8 Sprint + H&R
- biar mahal asal puas hati...

p/s: Im using now Bilstein B8 Sprint + Eibach Pro-Kit = not that lowered la... but if Bilstein B8 Sprint + H&R/Eibach Sportline = very cun one...

Get a set of Titan for 2.8K. Inverted monotube, sumitomo steel, hidraulic fluid + high-charged nitrogen gas. Choose medium or short stroke if u wanna go low.. Stiff, but ur car won't jump around. 2 years warranty & free servicing. Talk to Richard or Stanley (ninja iga) at their garage in Pandan Mewah for more details...

If ur budget 500... i suggest u top up abit more get tein s tech... works very well with stock absorber... heard n1 only selling them for around 600? my place here rm650 w/o installation..

lol... me from sarawak here.. the lousy brand also rm400-rm500... just get better offer for RM520 GAB to sarawak..
