Worn like consume engine oil between OCI. Consume a bit is normal, unless you need to top up a lot.

If you are having a worn piston ring, chances are that, a lot of blow by will come into contact with the engine oil, the blow-by will again form sludge and the unburnt fuel will cause fuel dilution within the oil and break down the viscosity and aggressively pushing down the flash point.

At this point, a good synthetic would be useless because of consumption and it is not a cure for leaking piston rings..... A cheap mineral would be bad also because it would be broken down so fast and it might no longer provide any meaningful protection....


Try to protect the engine the best way that you can afford while it is still new....

Sooo expensive! What for also use such expensive oil for normal engine like that? Wasting money only. can buy 3 bottles (12 ltrs) of Mobil 1 at Tesco during discount!

Alignment also so expensive, other places only rm50 or less!

It's actually 180kph but the speedo is always over estimate. Most cars are like that.

But I don't know why change engine oil and filter needs highly-qualified RACE technicians. Do they mean R3 race technicians have nothing to do, now being asked to change engine oil for Proton Saga?
