The caveman's paint job - the CroCodile Peel

Hello friends :itsme:

We all know about oranges, full of vitamins, good for health.

One Question:
Do body shops and factories borrow this texture for their paint jobs? Is it to mimic nature?
Well food for thought!

Let's take a journey into the caveman’s paint job, his chef-d’oeuvre or master piece on a 07 black Toyota Corolla. My uncle had the same for resale. The car had been resprayed and was covered with Orange Peel. Looking at it from close range...

Just observe

Can this be corrected?

Well… a little and a lot of prayers, perseverance, patience and passion… this is what I learned

washed and clayed

Started with the fender, early dawn, when everybody was sleeping

Paint leveled: 1500 followed by 2000 grit paper

Only the fender’s done. The car was sold before I could complete it.

Thanks to Almighty God Whose help was with me. N thanks for viewing.

Your comments are welcome and appreciated as always.

Hi Zaid.... Crocodile peel tamer! Nice 50/50.

Well...I wouldn't really blame the body shop nor the factory for that....they're normally 'forced' to do that cuz that's what normally would happened when people are not willing to fork out a decent amount for a paintjob....you pay peanuts and you'd get monkey la....

Anyway, very nice save there zckid. I betcha it was fun.....Btw what products did you used there mate?

Thanks for your replies friends. very much appreciated.

best regards
zaid
