wanan know the good n the bad for PORTING our engine head....

plan to do it for next mod..

if i after porting, need to tuning again ? If got a tune able piggypack.
-----

Some more, increase flow got same stress to piston if compare with increase boost.

nope.dont need to re-tune.

porting will give smoother flow..not really an increase in flow..just smoother flow. so dont need to worry about ur pistons.

porting will increase air-flow while polish smoothens the air flow......its advisable to retune after such mods.....

if u got the tools n the skill then shouldn't b any problem!!!
lot damm lot of work...

let the ECu tune by itself?

after the PnP the ori ECu can be tuned to match the mod rite?

erm.. i think u guys abit messed up here.

he is asking porting. wat got it to do with smoothnes? if u port but didnt polish it, how come it will be smooth?

porting meaning u r enlarging the stock size. hence its increase flow. with increase flow surely u may wan to increase abit on fuel to match.

EFI meaning electronic fuel injection. what got it to do with self tuning?

Tuning itself means that the ECU learns that there is a change in the air intake system and learn to compensate the fuel itself
