Depends on what aspect ratio of tyres being used.
If 215/45R17 then 8 " is max, as recommended is 7 to 8.
If 215/50 or 215/55R17 then 7.5 should be max, as recommended is 6 to 7.5

Cox the halfcut rim tire is 245/45/R17 ...but the tire cant use

As bro. 6UE5t mentioned 225/45 is perfect for 8" rims, as recommended is from 7 to 8.5".
Even 245/45 can fit 8" (recommended 7.5 to 9")
Would like to ask, what is your original tyre size on your ride, as you cannot just fit any size you like.
For example 245/45 is almost 3% bigger in overall diameter over 225/45, so please check your original size tyre and convert from there....

18" x 8.5J, you can fit from 225 right up to 255. It also depends on the aspect ratio (series) used.
As mentioned, please convert upgrade size according to your original tyre size.

And I planning upgrade toyota 4 pot front brake system

Yup, as bro. 6UE5t mentioned 225/45R17 almost same overall diameter as your current tyre size.
If you want rears to be wider then 245/40R17.
Offset 25 seems a bit further out, maybe that is what you want...

Try checking out GT Radial Champiro HPY, 18" last I check below RM500....

mine is 17inch and currently using Achilles atr sport.got it at rm225 for 215/45/17 and rm275 for 225/45/17. Heard that its a good all rounder for cheapo price.happy using it :)
but no more wheelspin at 3rd gear,i guess need to put bigger turbo, if not the tires are not worth it.keekekek

using achilles 123s front n atr sport rear..123s is the cheapest slick but it performs excellence at karak ...atr sport already 2yrs++..still ok..n both of my tyre xde lari2 when hujan..

But you're fitments reflect exactly hellaflush! :P
The front at least has to use 225 and the rear actually needs at least 255 already!
