"Tokyo drift" and Nissan

hi all...
do u think this movie do a good / bad job on publicity on nissan? :)

1. from the beeginning.. already nissan S15 being crash (by the driver who not yet know how to drift ) and in the duel with a fairlady.

2. throughout the show, the bad guys gang comes with fairlady (dono will this giv impression of mafia will use fairlady?)

3. in the end, they transplant a nissan engine (i think is SR20DET cause is from the silvia, but it looks similar to RB also.. i not sure), into a MUSTANG
(this is kinda dissapointed part for me lar.. cause when saw the trailer i thought will be real V8 mustang)


so how u think?
nissan engine will get higher price after the movie?
more ppl will buy the fairlady?

sam, the engine tat transplant into mustang is RB26.

Yes i can comfirm u guyz that, that was a RB26.
The S15 is transplanted RB26 initially :)

Hmmm, think will not, coz the half cut is look for the quantity, if the quantity less, sure the price will grow high, if quantity lots sure still maintaine in the fix price, but the movie bring sum effect, make ppl will go find the Nissan car or engine, so this is the effect for the price hike! :_:

i thinking like effect of 'initial D' . than the price of AE86 tueno and levin gone up,

so maybe this willl make 2nd hand nissan fairlady and halfcut price gone up..

Yeah .. this time its not Nissan's time but they swapped Nissan's famous GODZILLA's heart into a 1967 Mustang .. at least "whites" realise that V8 is still uncomparable with the Jap's engine technology ..

I suppose its not RB26 .. but i realise i saw RB28 on the front deck when they show the crashed S15 ..

In my opinion, i think Nissan @ Skyline @ RB26's no need publicity, even a small kid knows when u say .. the word "SKYLINE" ... ;) rite?

the big round lights are the "Tradition" .. and the most powerful tune of Nissan's Inline-6. They proved as in the same line of Inline-6 which is under a Supra's hood.

Even .. TopSecret Nagata-san's 100-Miles supra uses RB26DETT ;)

The 350Z got lots of publicity for sure. The poster already got one. Actually it depends on how you look at it. Mafias driving 350Zs may be cool to some people.
