Turbo MR2 Roadster Officially Launched (Engineering by TTE)

The MR2 is unfortunately comeing to the final phase of new vehicle sales throughout Europe.

It's a pity but the car doesn't meet the Euro 4 emission standard which become legal requirement from January next year onwards.

We have spent a lot of time in Japan and it looks good for a cooperation with the Domestic Conversion & Accessories Department of TOYOTA Motor Corporation.

We have presented the MR-S Turbo at the TOKYO Auto Salon this year and the response from the public was very positive.

As a result TMC has decided to launch a special version of 100 cars with the TTE Turbo kit, alloys, silencer and rear spoiler.
They will add a Bilstein suspension kit as well.

The 100 cars will be sold via Netz Dealers in Japan as they are the Japanese sales channel for the MR-S.

For Japanese and other overseas markets production of the MR-S will continue until 2007. Once the 100 cars have been sold it can be ordered indivually until production stops.

We will have a special offer in readieness for the Essen Motor show this year ( 24.11. to 4.12.2005). While the regular quotation is 6.844,-EUR we will offer it for 5.500,-EUR including body reinforcement, installation by us, registration to the vehicle documents by TÜV and VAT. "All Inclusive".

This is valid for all visitors to our booth signing a contract on the spot. Of course installation date etc. has to be negotiated.

I would like to spread that offer as much as possible.

a US guy did it. first SC in the world! (pix ,a few post before this)

SC on 1ZZFE ~ 1 in US (only one for now)

K20A (oh my gawd! honda engine!!) onto a spyder!! ~ 1 or 2 in japan, 1 in australia, 1 or 2 to be in US

2ZZGE ~ last count , about 20 or so (japan, US, SG, greece, malta, etc)

3SGTE ~ not including official JGTC MRS la (malaysia, indonesia, UK & US, japan)

turbo MRS ~ wah sudah banyak yuk (Malaysia, SG, japan , US, UK, german, italy, spain etc)


TTE MRS ? most probably only in europe now.

"Overboost" (the ultimate SCC monster MR2 mk11 champion) may do that later (V6) but he is pretty satisfied of his 2ZZGE on his spyder.

He (overboost) is still keeping one of his 2 V6 monster MR2 (blue)!!

He (overboost) is still keeping one of his 2 V6 monster MR2 (blue)!!

The blue SW20 V6 is his wife's car.

I have the video of that V6 MR-S. Before this there's also the other V6 MR-S done by TTE.
