Check just below your airflow sensor at the intake pipe where the gearbox is. When you shift from P to D there is something near the atf oil dipstick area that is white and black in colour that shifts. Check if there is any intercooler pipe or things blocking the gear selector from moving freely.
 
possible, of maybe the gearknob shifter need to take out, clean and realign. I don't think its gearbox issue but hard to say.
 
my trek normally does that when i park on slope hill area.. the "P" has some lock mechanism so when your parking brake is not firm enuf, the car will lean on the lock mechanism.
