Now, most people who drives their car daily for a long distance will notice one thing.. alignment issues start being a common problem that you need to face..

Left alone, tire wears unevenly, and your car start feeling 'squirrelly'.

So how do you manage this problem?

So far, for me, the toe keeps going off every few months, and the camber is out of whack... I'm already at the maximum number of washers (thicker means I have to use longer bolts.. which I don't want as a permanent solution)

So for autocrossers, you probably invested in some chassis tuning parts like camber links and other stuff. Name some, and how much you invested in them.

I'm curious about camber links.. What kind of camber links are available for the Civic EG? I'm hoping for a cheaper unit, since buying expensive one will eat into my B20B engine budget.

i have for front n rear..
price is RM900 for front, RM400 for rear.. price neg.
brand i think its either arospeed or silver's..
pm me for more details if u're interested..

shiro, check out in ebay. TONS of adjustable camber kits available. i plan to get those soon for my EF (since i cant get in here for the older model).

on top of dat, reinforcement bars would help a lot in improving the chassis strength. progressively i have installed the front strut, then the rear, and then the front lower tie bar and just got the room bar fixed last 2 weeks. it really improved my car "flexibility" during cornering, and of course during normal daily driving. cant wait to install the c-pillar tie bar soon..but for now, the time envies me. sigh..

yeap...EF's front adj camber kit is hard 2 come by ard here...but 4 d rear,its universal 4 EF,EG n EK...bought mine,GT Auto(or sumthg like dat)..fully aluminium...RM250...NICE.....
i saw d front unit 4 EG..frm Arospeed...not too sure abt d price but my fren eater_eg6 sed he bought ard RM7XX???

Anyway.. the thing is... I'm worried about lastability.. since my car is a daily driver, it tends to see a lot of abuse.. so I'm not particularly fond of something that breaks easily under abusive use..

SS Works ones are beefy, but the cost is like 2-2.5K? (O_o) 1K+, I'd expect.. but double that? Aiyark!

I'm PM'ed chris (pentagon ent.) about omnipower ones, but I'd rather hear reviews from people who actually use and abuse theirs... e.g. autocrossers/track maniacs/etc.

As for arospeed.. I'm kinda a bit put off by their stuff since (from my point of view-lah) their stuff kinda lack the quality in workmanship... the front camber adjusters that I saw kinda put me off anything arospeed.. except maybe non critical items like quick release bosses, bonnet pins, chassis reinforcement.. etc. Where if ter'cabut' won't cause major damage..

Things like camber adjusters are high-risk items (IMO).. if it breaks, I risk more than just losing my car.

Stuff I want, but the price means more delays for the B20B.

Now that's what I call camber kits.. notice my hand with the car key and you realise how built those things are. These sets are for an EK...

but price can make you scream in terror oh!...

BTW, how much did those costs? I'm searching for Adjustable front Camber kits for my DC2. PM'd Chris, but he hasn't replied.

The ones in the picture are second hand, courtesy of a friend in japan.. but still costs more than 2K+... (since they're pretty much sitting around in a show car.. or so the guy says) new ones are rumoured to be over 4K for front and rear...

(O_o).... this definitely epitomes expensiveness....

The Jun camber arms are really different, and there's near zero possibilty of slipping like the ones that use separate piece for the top knuckle carrier thing.

Kinda sad that it costs a bomb... (>_<)

FYI,
our very own R3TA Eat_Me class overall champion (1301cc-1600cc),eater_eg6 uses d Arospeed front adj camber kit on his EG6 n yes,its a daily driven car too....

yeah.. I thought eater eg uses arospeed.. I'm not saying all their products are bad, since that particular unit I saw kinda disappointing..

Anyway.. cannot compare to my daily driving.. 30000kms in the span of less than 4 months.
