tyre prices

stock size should be 255 bro....... why 245?

Bro Ed,

It was a long long story... They were suppose get me 255 Toyo... but, they made mistakes and told me excuse at the end that only can get 245... Damn... So, just grab it at the end... Will change back to 255 after using these.. Hehe.. i guess would take quite awhile.. :P

However, Happy with Toyo... ;)

I am on 245/40/18 on rear, no problem so far

Bro tkew,

Are you using 245/40/18 too? Not 17 right?

for my tezza, i got these at rm300 per piece
215/45/17 Nexen/Roadstone n9000. budget tire..:P

Bro, I use 245 /40/18 on purpose coz dont want to be too heavy and the tall side wall. Important is the overall tyre diameter is the same as the ori.

Are you interested on my sets replica kranze - maggis, front 8"X18 rear "9"X18, 38 offset, less than 2 months old.

Finally, i found the 18" original rim used selling at japan. Need wait 1 month to arrive. Now any1 interesting to buy my ori 17" rim + 90% year 10 tread dunlop SP sport tyres ? But need to wait for my new rim then only i can swap. $2500 (012-2383871)

went to hadyai yest and searched for bridgestone re050 for my lexus. all no stock as they mentioned flood in bangkok so transport got stock a while. anyway, went to this big tyre and recommended me this goodyear eagle f1. so it was 225/45/17 and 245/45/17 total RM2000.00 for all 4 and minus RM200.00 for the old ones.

best thing about this is it is soft and quiet.i was scared before cause i was so used to it being quiet all this while.and totally no regret at all. smooth back ride all the way back to msia.

u guys should try it.

Recently change dunlop direzza 101 at klang.
225/40/18, 255/35/18. Been told that its good in wet condition, but what ive tested it is very loud. Kind of regret.

I've recently changed my tyres, to Continental CSC3, 225/45/17 , 245/45/17.

It's kind of regret also.
- Noisy
- Gripping not good as reviews. No matter in dry / wet. worst on the wet condition, hydroplanning even around 100kmh.

Seriously I've lost confident to my car right now, can't even do high speed corner on highways.

xfuture,

i'm using csc 3 as well, noisy is normal lar......but funny you don't have good grip....... i'm having fun with mine on corners and all........ wet memang cannot speed (i stick to below 80km in rain). dry is really good for me.......highway always 160 - 180kmh. running on 18" 225 front and 265 back..... no complaints so far............

Just done alignment change my rear wheel camber settings to -1.

it feels much better now, but noise level and rain grip still unmanageable. sigh..

btw, ed78, what spec of rims you currently using? 8JJ or 8.5JJ ?

xfuture,

Bro, try not to tekan in rain. i always keep it below 80km - very easy for the back to sway coz broad tyres mah............

running the stock jap spec 18" not sure how many JJ.

i see. if stock tyres then 8.5JJ edi..

was looking hard on cheap and good aftermarket rims. but 8.5JJ all doesn't come cheap.

8JJ is alot..

Wah dont know this tyre so bad in wet , so what is point using them as msia have rain all year round.

I have used Toyo T1R, Michelin Pilot, Falken 452, Hankook S1evo all dont have the issue with rain, can even drive 140 no problem at all.

It's basically on personal preferences, i'm same with you, i prefer gripping on wet conditions too. haha
