i'm having difficulities to choose a car, any car expert out there who able to help me? i've few models in mind. my budget within RM100k.
1) Honda civic hybrid
2) Proton Inspira
3) 2nd hand Honda Accord 2008

Don't think u can get the civic hybrid with that budget. Maybe the Honda insight. But with your options, I'd go for the inspira. I'd avoid buying 2nd hand cars if possible. Get a new one to avoid potential problems. :)

yeah inspira might be the best of the 3 cars u mentioned.. if u think getting a hybrid will lower your consumption, yes it will but do consider its running cost, might cost a bomb when the batteries need replacement..

budget within RM100k.
1) Honda civic hybrid - insight seem to be good choice. rm98k only
2) Proton Inspira - 2.0cvt paddle shift - rm92k only
3) 2nd hand Honda Accord 2008 - used...already after warranty.

u want power - inspira
u want fuel efficiency - insight...
my 2 cents

id go for insight...:)
otherwise used evo7 haha...now price down edi. slighly above rm100k. :)

honda civic hybrid is rm130k, the 98k u mentioned is honda insight.

about the battery cost for the insight, i've asked and test driven the car. lifespan is about 7 years, and currently it cost 7k to replace, but honda malaysia is giving a 5 year waranty or 140000km whichever comes first, so i believe the battery isn't much of a worry... imo...

and i love the car, but ... $$$ dont support in my change..

You can no longer purchase Civic Hybrid. They stop selling them once Insight come around. I agree with arrowhead. The battery cost TODAY RM7k which you will have 5 year warranty on it. Hopefully in the future the price of the battery will be reduced significantly.

the new civic just launched not long ago in China and US. get the inspira 2.0, best bang for buck.

if mine go for INSPIRA the best handling car ever better then LANCER....i already test drive the car from KLIA to melaka.....

paddle shift with 2 years free service....inspira is a good choice but if u mind to drive a national car..then u go for other makes. if not, inspira....u cant go wrong!
