If you look at the car's fuel filler compartment with the gas cap taken off
there's a small hole -beside the big hole where you place the fuel nozzle... ;-)
- toward the left side of it (old Saga). Anyone have any idea of what it is?

its a pressure relief valve i think....so hot air dun build up in your fuel tank....
could be i dunno....got pics ah bro?

thats the pipe for the fuel nozzle detect that your tank almost full during fills up so the pumps know when to stop....

On the old Saga 12V model, the distributor is mounted to the side of the engine.
Unlike the 8V model, the ignition coil is built into the distributor of the 12V model.
On the distributor housing, got an object mounted on the side of the distributor
which looks like a UFO. It could be some sort of solenoid valve and this object
got a vacuum hose connected to it.

So this UFO thingy, anyone know what is it and its functions?

I ask coz my Saga sometimes stalled unexpectedly. Later i found a vacuum leak from
one of the vacuum hose. The hose happened to connects from carb to the solenoid
on the distributor. I got the hose replaced and i hope the stall problem resolved.
Now the acceleration more smooth, can feel the different.

yep...then u'r good to go....

mostly when timing/idling related problem ppl would check those vaccum hose first before moving on to other part... :adore:
