what is this thing

any one can tell me what is this thing. its locate under passanger seat. last time burn and after unplug three sockect that connect it, my radio cannot function. anyone ever see this before.

i believe is the toyota oem audio amplifier.

dunno the exact function but i never unplug it since i bought the halfcut.

i also think is the toyota oem amplifier. coz the u say the thing burn only ur car radio no sound rite? some more is from fujitsu ten .. .. manufacture mostly in audio system also.. .. my 2 cent thought..

Yeah, Toyota AE101 amplifier made by Fujitsu Ten. I have it under my passenger seat.
But it dont have any grounding wire. Wajib ke letak wire hijau tu?

The amp already bolted to the body mah, perlu lagi ke grounding wire...

yes u can bypass but u need to trace the wiring lor. normally from the 3 sockets. one of it will have 8 wires (speakers output) that connected to the front/rear speakers. wat u need to do is just connect the 8 wires from ur radio/headunit to this 8 wires then done... just my 2cents.

Depend on the seller kot. I got it when buy 101 halfcut, eventhough time I bought it I know nothing then suddenly it pop out of nowhere. Also more other things except other half of the car(quote from my friend)
