S flow is still a straight through muffler. OEM muffler are all quiet one except Saga LMST last time......lol
had an lmst... that thing was noisyyy!!! noisy in so many diferent ways... always suspected an ahbeng designed that car.

Driven before 2 LMST belonged to a same friend. One is with the loud exhaust and another is without. The one with loud exhaust don't even feel anything faster than the quiet one. Just the sound probably makes you feel more fun when you are pulling revs.

Actually got slight difference in power, because an ex lady colleague of mine bought a LMST. After a while told me was too noisy so she went to exhaust shop exchange for Iswara model quiet exhaust. She says FC much better but lost a little power......lol![]()
Hmm, perhaps the difference can only be noticed in the same car. Different car, different output due to conditions. I guess the loud exhaust is less restrictive than the quiet one. Hence faster exhaust flow, more power and more noise?

Plus more fuel......lol![]()
If lets say I do full piping mod, but retained the stock muffler to keep the car quiet, will FC become worse?

Actually to me, if you are going to do half might as well don't do at all.
Anyway, FC is due to your right foot. Once you get better power, right foot becomes heavier. People who say get more power right foot becomes lighter is bullsh*t.....hhahahhahhahahahhah
In fact, once addicted to power you will want more and more like drugs.....lol:rolleyes:

actually... mine seemed alot more powerful, not just alittle... alotttt............. 0-60 quite fast actually.... i guess its also due to the tin kosong body~~ thats one car i crashed abit.... hit the old kereta kebal saga, my front kaput radiator mount all pushed in, the other car, the bloody plastic trim fell off (and the bumper was alittle dented (amazingly still straight...:hmmmm:even the bar behind)
I guess is full exhaust system all the way or don't do at all. I've seen the front structure of Saga before. From outside, they looked like solid but when you open up the hood, you'll see that there is just 2 thin steel beams on the front end. When crash, front sure gone. No extra steel beam for protection.
You mean after your crash, your LMST plastic trim fell off but the old saga that you hit was a little dented?

I agree with right foot becomes heavier because it feels more fun to push the car after power gain. I think the only situation where right foot becomes lighter is probably during heavy traffic condition. At slow speed, you don't need to press much on the throttle to get going. Unlike an underpowered car where you need to press more in every conditions.
Normally weekday i drive like granma to conserve fuel for weekend hooning :P ahahahah![]()
......hhahhahahha
haha nuuuuu terbalik!
My front section was squashed, radiator support all pushed in, touching the gearbox linkage effectively locking it out of 1st and 2nd. Headlight brackets, all patah, grill pecah, bonnet squashed. Lucky no mechanical damage, radiator all ok, just drive off in third.... really a tin kosong car, front end held together by that thin metal support. There is a metal frame behing the bumper iirc but thats about it.
Mechanic basically pulled the thing back together, made some mounts using scrap metal, bent stuff back into place then i hand painted the exposed metal..... saga lmst no value car, so at that time, long as can jalan....
Because if you do half the flow gets restricted at the end by your muffler.....lol
Thought of wanting something quiet. Don't want to make a loud 4G15 that sounded faster than what it is.

Then you need to custom the valve type muffler......lol![]()
Is not the tip, the silence is from the muffler. Please google the muffler construction and see how the sound is cut down.... :wavey:
Saw before those diagrams. Reduce sound through fiberglass and directing exhaust gases to various chamber before exiting.
