i'm driving a wira 1.6 yr2000 mitsu ecu. i checked my timing a couple of
days back and it was 5 deg. as advised by the mechanic, i advanced it to
10, trying to get more power. unfortunately, there was pinging from the
engine. then, i retard it to 8. still pinging. ended up, set back to 5.

wat's actually the optimum timing for wira? i asked a few different
mechanics and 3 of them told me it's 10. the other 1 told me it's 5. wat do
u think?

did u ask mech from proton? they shld know bah.

ask already. they said by default it is 5deg. but some said mitsu spec is 8deg
