Yokohama AD-07 Advan Neova tyre

On my current car, this is the 4th set of tyres I have used.

1. Bridgestone Potenza 711
2. Dunlop Direzza DZ101
3. Advan Neova AD07
4. Silverstone Slick Tyres

lets leave the Silverstone out since it is the noisies, best in dry weather, and crap in the wet. (I do daily driving on them)

Potenza is much more noisier than the AD07
Quietest of the bunch is the dunlop
The dunlop also more comfortable
AD07 has good dry traction
wet is about the same cause have to drive sensible in the wet, you are not invincible you know........

wat bout the tire wear rate???

Whats the pricing like??

195/50/15..... and where do you get the prices?? KL/Sunway/Klang??

:D

an alternative to the advans would be yoko es100s...i'd say their pretty good in both wet and dry. especially hydroplanning, really cuts thru the puddles like razors. :) using on both wira 1.5 and putra 1.8. :)

I m currently usin it rite now (AD07)....... super good in the dry but in the wet..... errr.... 80 n above is very dangerous!!!

195/55/15 bought at a offer price at 260 early this year in pandan indah...... a good recommendation..... as for noise..... dunno whether its my bearing or the tyres.....

pls pls stay away fr silverstone ftz sport...... REALLY REALLY LOUSY!!!!

The AD07 seems to have the best bite out of other street radials I've tried, that includes the BFG G-force and Michelin Pilot Sport. Noise? I never complain about noise. There are so many others noises eg. LSD clunking, pillowball sound, exhaust noise, rear tyres screeching sound... you just have to live with it.

Why do everyone ditches Silverstone FTZ? I loved them on my rears, coz they last, and they are cheap. Should ask Silverstone to sponsor drifting, a world where everybody loves cheap and lasting tyres. LOLOLOL :p

AD07 is current king of road tyres in the dry. When properly warmed up, your car practically sticks to the road. In the wet, just obey speed limit, common sense and you'll be fine.

For king of wet tyres, go for Eagle F1 GSD3.

GSD3 rules the water!!!:D
but the thai made ones are NOISY!!!!

well, guess you cant have everything

the wear rate is really good and the sidewalls are hard, so that if your car have suddeny deflation in the tyre like how i experienced, the car is still controllable, even though you are spinning.....

guys anobody know the price for 165/14" ???

Cliche ( KCar) size? RM 180. Just standby for 3 figure speeds cornering on 3 wheels ( inner rear lift)

we once did back to back test with AD07 and Silverstone slicks (MME specs). The AD07 were 0.5 secs faster.

yeap i agree . But 2 things i don like es-100 is the tyre is very noisy when driving and also de grip do not last long .... previously i'm using ES-100 also . It can only last 25,000 km . i've change to AD-07 and it can last 30,000 km . Price is slightly expensive but its worth paying it .
