well ideally thats was the list....
but in real life is....theres some other parts need to be replaced also prior to top overhaul(mostly due to overheating)
-waterpump
-radiator hose
-waterpump pipe
-timingbelt (snapped/old)
-radiator flushing
-engine oil+oil filter
-new coolant
if u add those...then u'll understand why i quoted a bit higher price...
*blood....maybe u can ask them full quotation of replaced parts and labour
Sorry, I didn't know u were quoting. I though ur car were sent to workshop with that price. I did a cylinder head overhaul. Which is why it's costly. Normal top overhaul doesn't involved so many parts.
Just out of curiosity, does these problem among campro still persist?Still got cases such as this nowadays? From what i heard, this is a batch faulty. Some said it's the design of target wheel dat causes this issue. So, can anyone enlight me with the info...batch problem or design problem?
I heard of the target wheel too. Somehow only cylinder 1-4 matches the tdc, but the 2-3 cylinder didn't when the target wheel is turned 180 degree. That's what I heard. Just sharing, no offense.

....proton oh proton....why can make something perfect..we people just need a reliable car is more than enough...:vollkommenauf:
