Thinking of Reflashing ECU at N1 Sunway

I am thinking of reflashing my ECU at N1 racing Sunway. Car is Evo 9, just light mods like exhaust, external wastegate, HKS induction system.

Has anyone reflashed their Evo there before, particularly Evo 9?

Interested in hearing your opinions and experiences and if its worth it.

I'd say getting ECU Flash is worth every penny for EVO
BTW what is the reason behind external wastegate??
I think EVO IX with just basic mod should make about 330-350whp on dynojet
What is your boost control solution?You need a boost solenoid + map sensor(ECU controlled boost) or MBC/EBC of some kind

my evo8mr i just installed strocker kit, tomei 2323, running original turbo. so far run in 3000km. i plan to go sunway to do re-flash ori ecu. probably in Oct when i have free time, because my location is penang, very far.

any comment you can advice me :P

btw, if i want to install bigger injector (say 1000cc or 1200cc), heard that we need to insert "the injector map value" into the ori ecu during re-flash. have you tried this one ?

ecu reflash can be done at N1 or GT Auto...

another cheaper way is by remapping ur ECU...did mine at LMY Andy (Snails)...

No need LMY bro few of my fren had really tough time there, whether it is subaru or evo. Search around you will find the answer.

Why dont go for standalone for future upgrading.

Basically it's two different way of saying the same thing
Anyway,EVO don't really have much need for standalone nowadays with the awesome open source ECU Flash community

N1 quoted me less than rm2k for the reflash. If anyone has done it and thinks its worth it ill prpb go for it

yea. u need to modify two major things for your bigger injector (Injector Scaling table and the Injector Battery Voltage Latency ) other than the normal timing, mivec, afr, and boost.

wow. if n1 quoted you around rm2k, then i think the dinner is way to cheap, unless it is Ah Yat Bao Yu. hahaha

Maybe I would arrange your stay at my place & reflash the ECU + some knowledge.
My target only to be daily ride & all stock condition in my ride (E8MR)

What are the tools/gadget required to relflash the ECU?
Is it the same specification by the ECUTECK (license & etc)?

Most of the people tune with ECU Flash nowadays which is an open source flash for EVO and some other car
Have plenty of feature,can do like launch control,dual map,"live tune",Speed Density etc
As for flashing ECU i believe you need the software + Tactrix cable
