for me.....it should be os twin plate.....price can check with st wangan at sunway......

1st of all, how much is your car HP?

For me, if car below 220hp on wheel, Exedy 3 puck or 4 puck is more than enough to grip it as Super Single is for those car with high HP which it can uphold to 350hp on wheel & of coz Twin plate can uphold higher HP car.

I am using 3 puck & it's more than enough for me bro & it's much more cheaper. Value for $$$. Just my 2 cent. Don't shoot me ya...

Exedy 3 puck vs Triniti clutch?

which GRIPS better?

which GRIPS better?

I personnally tried both. Previously use Triniti. Triniti makes your car more vibration. In terms of grips, both almost the same. I prefer Exedy...

i was told that the exedy doesnt really last that long...best to use for track. coz they dont really take to the half clutch position (drag launch, traffic jam etc etc) that well.

triniti is better for all rounder and lasts longer...

this was told to me by someone who sells both clutches.

Already been told u that I personnally tried both & it's my personal feeling. then you better go for triniti if someone told u that or you may try both Exedy & Triniti & you will find out the difference...

yeah i know my main point is about long lasting... how long did both clutches last u? which lasted longer?

and WHY do u prefer exedy? coz of no vibrations? can explain the vibrations of the trinity? is it during 1st gear move off or something?

Not sure which one last longer as I sold my triniti clutch & change to execy. Vibration is on every gear as its like jumping...

I've used both OSGiken quadruple plate and ORC (Ogura) twin plate in my car.

Personally I feel that ORC is slightly more user friendly than OSG but not by much. Both are very good clutches, way better than Exedy and HKS. I've used Exedy Super Single and HKS twin plate clutches in my previous car.

To go super single or multiple plates depend on the power ur putting out. The more power, the more plates u may need..

i`ve been using exedy 4 puck clucth for 4++whp vr4 on my satria with no prb..still can gigit... ;p

I'm using exedy 3 puck for 2 years no problem still gigit daily driven. My B16 putting 300whp so save yr money and buy yrself a nice camshaft instead.

yeah. i think ur right because i used super single exedy and after 6 months already slip.damn.what a waste of money.my car only making below 200hp. now feels less and less grip. maybe i try 3 pucks after this...really disappointed.my car not even went to the track. daily driven car...my car was slip when i on the A/C.(type r clutch). all people say to get super single...i bought ORC. after 6 months i'm losing grip. then i bought exedy also slip...previous tuner teach me this...then i get a 2nd opinion he says 3 or 4 puck already enough...why nobody mention me this before????????either the first tuner is stupid or he lives in a cave....

its good that u know now than later..save a lot of twin plate or super single set....u should be thankful to the tuner...cheerz

thanks tuner for what????/first tuner says this 2nd tuner says that...so the first problem is from the tuner itself...he knew already that my car every day traffic jam he urge me to use exedy super single!!!!6 months slip. don't u get it. how much money i lost...rm1500 for 6 months?????what is that. thanks to tuner u say??????now 2nd tuner says use clutch 3 puck only...now need some more rm1k. WTF!

so the first person can he be called tuner?or he is plain dumb. its really sick nowadays people try to sell parts or try to cheat on people????damn...what a waste...eveyday i could feel how unresponsive between gear change...aaaargh...could somebody buy my stupid clutch...

if ur car is less than 200hp...and everyday stuck in jam... then imho the best bang for buck clutch for u would be the Type R clutches.

cheap @ RM650 thereabouts and stock pedal feel yet good enough to handle 180-190 whp...some say even enough to handle 200whp.

n btw... since ur car so fast slip... u sure no oil getting to ur flywheel/clutch? or u do a lot of launches?

well that is one option...i one have one but it slip if i on the A/C. then i change to ogura. when install the ogura, the type r clutch was actually damaged not slip....

about exedy, it slips when i try to launch or drive hard...if drive normal ok...but currently drive between gear change can feel no power...

slip or maybe there's a problem...i heard clutch super single not ok for street. so no point of fixing the exedy clutch right?maybe for sale purposes yes need fix...

maybe i'll try type r clutches...

easier to drive..

thanks.

find out the cause of all the slipping first... it seems like every clutch u put in is slipping.

if thats the case, i dont think theres something wrong with the clutch... i think theres something wrong with ur car instead.

or could possibly be incorrect installation... go to a reputable honda builder and ask or have them check it out.

already tried exedy and triniti.. triniti 6 puck..i think its better than exedy 3 puck.....but if have more budget..take ogura racing clutch super single.. ..so good...

yup that should be the correct way...but since i've been going through the hassle it really makes me to dump my car. and having a tight budget make things a disaster.

but my mechanic drove my car that day to tune he says the clutch slipping...so i believed him.

to open the gearbox takes time maybe i'll change to type r clutch.

to buy super single clutches at first place was a mistake actually...considering i'm travelling mostly jam roads everyday!!!!!at gear 1 really hard to keep car move smoothly....its a family car for god sake...i don't know why that mechanic offer me these kind of clutches...when ask other clutches he say no...no good...

i killed that mechanic for good...met with a new one. more professional approach than previous.

hey does anybody know how to restore or what to restore a 99 honda civic car. i mean the handling part...coz the engine part i already know... its already 13 year car...i plan to use another 3 more years. is it ok????
