anyway, u want the outside of the rim + tyre to be flush with the car's body rite?
so, based on my rim dimensions for the fitment.
i would say - front 8" offset 40-45 and rear 9" offset 40-45.
u can play around with the dimensions like with - front 7" offset 28-33
look HERE for wideness and offset play..

with ur set up,does the rear tyre hit the fender on full load?

My wiring is not very good already some wire seem have short curcuit my workshop intended to re-map all the wiring for the good sake.

with ur set up,does the rear tyre hit the fender on full load?

if ur car too low and it bumps, it will hit the inside of rear bumper (part with the nut/screw).
but u always can potong/skim a little bit of the rear bumper.
u have any rim in mind (with the measurements)?

if ur car too low and it bumps, it will hit the inside of rear bumper (part with the nut/screw).

the softer suspension (stock) also can cause the 'sagat' problem, just like my kereta surau..
i'm using 17" rims, just 7" with 215/45 (f) and 8" with 225/45 (r).. offset 38 for all..
when loaded with 4 adults, rear tyres' side wall will hit the wheel arch at the bad bumpy road..
same goes to the front tyres but rarely happen.. think it could be avoided with stiffer suspension..

hye, i bought a new perdana, mmg kilang setting.. the gearbox dah jerking, lg2 bila nek bukit and drop to lower gear.. gear change not smooth.. masa dalam waranty, the proton always deny dat prob smpai habis waranty.. and now, the car like gegar when i drive at 70km/h.. when i step on the pedal and it changed gear, xde lagi gegar. spark plug tuka iridium dah. cable plug prob ke cmni? or ad lagi sbb lain? any views from forumer sgt dhargai since im a newbie here.,. huhu peacE!!!:proud:

Jein : you bought the car new and when you sent it to be serviced, they denied it was the GB problem which is causing the jerking but DIDNT fix the problem ? Did they say what the problem was then ?

When ur car Gegar, is it you feel the Body gegar, or steering wheel gegar , if u step on the pedal and change gear and the gegar hilang then it doesnt seems like a gearbox problem, feels more like the driveshaft to me.

Bad plugs , wires can cause jerking also.. but that feel is more like semput semput, doesnt feel like gegar or gearbox missing its gears or hunting gears. Its hard to diagnose your problems here bro. If able send your Perdana to a reliable work shop instead who knows what they are doing.

they said that the gearbox was ok.. they said it was the plug.. bought an expensive bosch iridium, then still d same. tpu je..
if the car is on N, n i rev, the rpm didnt goes up instantly.. semput2 then only bru nek..
on cold start, the sounds of the exhaust seem like, puf puf puf.. where a v6 engine must have a sounds so good to hear, flat continous sound..
brought to the proron lagi, and they said the cable plug no6 is damaged. i didnt understand why they didnt dtect that that is the prob when it was still in warranty.. nampak sgt xnk tukar. ni nak mencarut nih.. haha
nak tuka trus triple core, but if u all cn recemnd me the cable plug yg elok, lagi baik..
btw, mne la nk cri supplier2 aftermarket perdana ni.. susah betol nk jmpe.. waja wira gen2 byk la plak.. perdana xde

Oooo... memang nampak macam misfiring. I had this problem too bro.

Spark plug cable ada banyak jenis, paling baik kalo dapat yang memang ORI ORI for V6, jangan ambik aftermarket yang lain lain, bukan nak pijak cable yang lain, tapi enjin v6 ni sensitive sikit, dia punya manifold tutup 3 plug yang kat belakang tu, suhu kat ruang tertutup memang panas, takut cable lain... tak tahan lah. Proton punya "ori" v6 cable also buatan malaysia, kalo tak salah Rm250-Rm300.

Sekarang i pakai Ngk power cable, ori japan, lebih kurang Rm570. Settle.

Inilah pendadapat 2 kupang saya, tidak ada kena mengena dengan mana mana pihak haha :)
