Yokohama Parada Spec II... your thoughts?

Is there 225x45x17 Yokohama Parada Spec II?
Anyone know what the price per piece?

Thanks

Last time i ask is RM150 per peice for 195/50/15..there is a shop in Gombak selling tire at a very GOOD price..not too sure if they carry 17 on parada..most seen is 15 only..

used this tires before.

not bad for the price, just that its damn noisy.

jameswwt: i think they only have 195/50/15.

race-parts & pocketrocket: even directional tires can still do a left n right rotation, as long as we de-mount the tire from the existing rim n mount it on the different position of rim on the car.

sorry for digging old thread....

may i know if this tyre have 14" size????

coz not really into upgrading my rim size.... :adore:

if in any case none available...may i know if there was any similiar tyre(with radical thread pattern and of course performance like semi-slick and not to forget, affordable price like this parada) for my rim size???? :adore::adore::adore::burnout:

Hey... yea old thread!
ahahah..

But unfortunately, from what i know, Paradas don't come in 14"s.

There aren't really many (if any) "performance" oriented 14" tyres. And even less so with prices close to the Paradas (which are quite an old model now so u might have trouble finding them anyway).

Also, as much as the Paradas look very "radical", they're nowhere near similar to Semi Slicks.
And from personal experience, they don't last very long, have significant rolling noise, and are nowhere near as grippy as your Advan Neovas and Potenzas etc. Which is why theyre so much cheaper also.

Like i mentioned earlier, your options are kinda limited for cheap/good 14" performance tyres.
Perhaps an alternative would be those less competent brands like Achilles, Nankang etc. which are cheap, have kinda nice thread patterns, but lack performance.

Suggestion? Move up to 15" and your options will be much wider.

looks like i have to upsize my wheel....

maybe later coz the only wheels i prefer for 15inch was oz from evo with 114pcd...have to change the hub also...

btw...thanks for the info.... :adore:

now...come with 205/45/16....
just got 1 pair to replace my T1R...
with price 270 per tyre i think this parada is good enough compare to other brand..
of course u cant compare to other model such as T1R,AD07,GSDIII...RE001..
cz they r in diff class...
i also ever use hankook before but its sidewall crack too ealy its time...still got 40% demm..

Yup, since most cars have 15" as standard, tyres in the 14" range have lessen. Those days have Neova AD-07 and Michelin PP2 to choose from. So it is either normal tyres, or go up one notch to 15".

Sorry for bumping an old thread...

I could really do with some advice on tyres. Will it be ok if i were to put Yoko Parada 195/50/r15 on my front wheels while maintaining my Falken 195/55r15 on my rear wheels?

Appreciate any replies to this... Thank you so much!

Can, as long as the 2 in front are the same make, size and model and the 2 in the rears are the same make, size and model.....

Thanks vr2turbo for the clarification! Much appreciated!

Your 195/50/R15 is new? Running FWD, the front will wear first and if cannot rotate since you are using different size (aspect ratio), you will have to keep changing the front tyres until the rear ones wear down....

Correct! My front tyres are almost bald. The rear ones are still very good. Been using about 2 - 3 years.

By the way, is the yoko parada any good?

Why you did not use back same size, means the 55 series? Is it too big?

Yoko Parada Spec II is now Made in Philippines. Heard it is pretty hard, good for performance, dry is good but will be noisy and not very good in the wet. Pattern very aggressive.....
